Guys, let's not derail this thread with the woman soldiers thing, it's an already suggested suggestion, and they aren't going in because not one of the armies depicted in the mod have women fighting in any of the combat roles portrayed in PR.

The majority in the US, UK and Canadian armies are white people because they are predominantly white countries so get a grip and find some other shit to complain about.

Btw, I think he was talking about the kit geo renders? in which all geos were on asian (US) solider model just for the sake of showing it off on a player model.

In .87, I saw many more black and oriental US troops than white, so i'm quite happy with the changes.
Personally, I don't think there should be women in PR, how many guys want to play as a woman? And how many women play PR? NOT WORTH IT!
Plus, i'd like to see a woman lug around an M240 Bravo and full combat gear all day, they aren't made for war. Not to be sexist, it's a fact, women naturally have much less muscle than men and their lack of testosterone prevents them from gaining much muscle. Just how it is and how it should be.

We just need a night map again.

Like that one mission verse the Chinese that required night vision. What was the name of that map?

don't disrespect their memory.
I don't even know what to say to that, saying that women don't fight on the front line is IN NO way disrespectful to anyone that as died over there.

Anyways... the only kit portrayed as an African American on the spawn menu in v0.9 would be the Automatic Rifleman. There are several different reasons why there doesn't appear to be as many African Americans in the U.S. Army in v0.9.
- Prior to v0.9, the U.S. Army scoped rifleman had been African American. Because of the popularity of the scoped rifleman, you would see many players as African Americans. In v0.9, the scoped rifleman is now Caucasian.
- To add on to this point, because requesting limited kits only change the kit geometry and not the actual player skin, the players that spawned in as scoped rifleman and requested a different kit would still appear as African Americans. Now that the scoped rifleman is Caucasian, these limited kits more than often appear as Caucasian rather than African American.
- Some of the changes in v0.9 also tie into the apparent lack of African Americans on the U.S. Army. Currently, in v0.9, it requires a squad of four or more to be able to spawn in as Automatic Rifleman. This severely restricts the amount of Automatic Rifleman and therefore African Americans running around the battlefield.

CareBear wrote:^ what?
In vBF2, all the "Heavy" kit (The ones wearing body armor) were African American in appearance.

Your being completely sexist: "i'd like to see a woman lug around an M240 Bravo and full combat gear all day, they aren't made for war"
They can do that just as well as the next guy if they are trained for it. Female pilots can generally take more G's than male pilots.
