I think Your problem, dear OP, is that You enagage into actual fight with pistol.

I've managed to take out IDF sniper by putting five or six rounds in his back. From above. When he was laying. Not further than six feets.

That's the way You should put HiPower in use.

When ever I am SL, I always run the pistol. But insurgents dont have body armour, so a few shots and they are down from it.....

for all the pistols (and Skorpion) I understand that a shot to the body wont do much but to the head it should take him down with in the first one. Ive seen a few guys take more than one round to the head and still survive and kill the guy w/ the pistol.

yeah that is generally known as bad hitboxes/hitbox detection, which we can't do much about tbh.

the code says one shot to the head and that is the reality, although you might be unlucky to get a bad hitbox detection which sucks

Its only u, ive killed 2 guys with 1 mag.
Edit: it must be fail hit detection, once I shot a guy that prone dived 2m away from me twice in the face with a shotgun and nothing (I still owned him cuz prone diving fails), shiet happenz :<
