That's you own bad luck on the no 1 shot kills then or maybe bad hit detection. I personally like deviation how it is now, the only thing that really pisses me off in fights now is hit dtection, but not much the devs can do.

CQC= run into the guy with your finger on the trigger (if you have full auto)or press left mouse butten as fast as you can guy falls down if you shot 1st.
I actuly liked it the old way better:run into guy doing as above states hit everything but him pull knife out and dual.was much more fun IMO.
The only weapons that should be good in CQC should be the true weapons for it like the shotgun or irons for balence otherwise you make irons totaly redundent.

Excavus wrote:Deviation is weird. Accuracy never decreases to 0%, so I have never, ever, got a kill on the first shot. I mean never. This has caused me to always lose stealth when engaging the enemy, as the bullet flies by their head, they insta-dive into cover and automatically know where I am.
I've killed only a handful of people on the first shot.

I'd say that shooting in PR takes a while to learn. Played since previous (.87?) version and can't say there is too much difference.
In CQC things get real messy real fast, mostly because of how FPS games are made.
If you in an FPS game look through your weapon's optics, or IS, it resembles real life pretty well: you are focused on everything right there, and don't see threats/friendlies in your periphery too well. An FPS player is basicly a guy in a box, looking out through a slit, and carrying a gun. Your view angle is not what you got irl, unless you got some real bad eye disease.
CQC could be somehow adressed for scope users though. Allow them to just raise their gun, and aim along the barrel? Would be fun, useful, (my god Metal Gear Online, scoped M14, don't use scope, troll everyone, even CQC), but how about engine limitations?

I think the max deviation could do with lowering, if I decide to spray due to being close to the enemy, my bullets come out at literally >45 angles.

way too many shootouts at point blank range have rounds hitting the ground etc. I say improve it make it a little more realistic. The automatic rifleman is must be a smooth bore, cause IDK if its deployed or not that thing takes forever to settle down.

True if you know how to shoot .. and I do... It can be a huge advantage. I'm just saying I think its a little unrealistic.
