I thought the FH2 sound was very similar to the one in the real video.

In this case I'd recommend changing the loading animation to the more "manly" variant, that sure is more common in the field.
Step 1: Pull the lever back and forth again.
Step 2: Open the bolt.
Step 3: Lay in the belt.
Step 4: Close the bolt, safety off, fire.

But that would mean a completely new animation, and I can't imagine how much work this is.
For the disintegrating belt, I've never seen any other belts used, so yes, it should be one, but it's a minor issue.
Is it worth the trouble?
Like I said, it's a minor issue, so you should decide for yourself. It could also be done by an alias-action, like the hand moves there and you hear a sharp click.

For the FH2 sounds, it's closer, yes, but not right. MG42 had other bullets (7.92 x 57), a higher RoF, cheaper steel and some components changed in the process to becoming the MG3.

The problem with the video supplied is that the sound quality of the recording device can't capture the weapons true bass...rather it sounds flatter then it more likely is.

Also weapons always sound different at varied distances.
