Players and especially SL's don't check their map too often and it is sad because radio is a powerful recon tool. I always use it when a friendly squad is next to me to warn them.
Try to rely on your squaddies to support you while you are spotting on the radio.
I hope, we will see radio markers in the future. It is a new tool and we have to get used to using it and using it wisely
