Bear 2 vest? Like it. However, might be interested in texturing the M07 vest on there instead. At least for Afghanistan. If you're going to be using HV as the "Norwegian" units, the Bear 2 isn't what should be used. The CV1 "fishing vest" is. Also, desert boots for the desert uniform, maybe?
Need references for the details?

make sure to save the psd, also edit the bump maps, do desert skins, use different faces, use existing bump maps where possible and line up the kits with the player skins.

also good to see progress, keep it up!

Not sure if the different ACOG versions are issued kit with the more operational parts of the Army these days, but quite a lot of people "over there" uses them. Simply because it's better kit than an Aimpoint or Aimpoint with 3x magnifier for the ranges at which the fighting generally takes place "over there".

The Norwegians have the chance to have already their soldiers in BF2. Use it.

Looks great, Sgt Doctor. Dunno if you've used heavy player models, but that's what's to be used for the ISAF models.

Couple of points, though:

Right arm should look like this:

Body armour (M07 vest) front:

Back:

Note that there are arm pockets on both arms of the uniform, and that the body armour should be brown (the new stuff is basically Coyote Brown in colour). Should also be wearing desert boots:

M08 desert boot:

Desert gloves can be seen here:
