Won't Russia get more Mi-18's in the future to replace their Hinds? I thought PR was set in the near future.

I think Mi24VP very balanced with apache!
They have 23mm rotate cannon,on pylons:80mm S8 rockets and/or big 130mm S13 rockets,4 Shturm-V ATGM!
Shturm is very old missle,and can't destroy modern tanks!But S13 destroy can bunker => can destroy tank!
I think - make for Mi24 10 - S13,40 - S8,4 Sturm-V ATGMs,and no AA weapon for balance and realism!!!
About damage!
S-8 - just rockets like Ah64,Ah1Z etc
S-13 - destroy all vehicles at 1-2 rockets,tanks - 5-6 rockets
ATGM - 1 for all vehicles,2-3 for tanks!

The Mi 24 would be a blast to have around on some of the russian maps. Especially since it can carry 8 troops also. Would be a good vehicle on say Yamalia where travel can be a problem. Like a chinook with no crates but can it can lend ATG support.

a Hind on yamalia would be awesome for an alternate layer imo. would give great possibility for asymetrical warfare.

Candadians get similar to what they have atm, maybe a Leopard or 2 aswell. Cut down on the Cows and BTR-80As for russians and give them 2 hinds.

plus i think they look awesome too


oh and can someone explain the difference between a Mi24 and Mi35? is it armaments or what

It would be good idea to replace the cow with mi 24 and leave mi 28 as main attack chopper. Since mi 24 can carry infantry )

Im just waiting for the hind to be released to I can take my MANPAD (FIM-92 Stinger) and shoot one down.

They why the hell do we have the AH-1Z instead of the AH-1W? The Viper isn't expected to enter service until...I dunno...2011! So that's not even guarenteed. That's 1 more year of frontline usage of the SuperCobra. I highly doubt the Viper will even get combat usage in Afghanistan, as the war will probably be over. If the Mi-28 is going to get replaced by the Mi-24, and the Russians actually have both aircraft in use in their Air Force, I purpose that the AH-1W replaces the AH-1Z, since the Viper isn't even a production aircraft yet.

The Hind would pretty much have the same dilemma as the IFVs in PR.

There is a Mi24 Hind model in BF2 SF...Dunno if you can transfer from there?

I thought I read some where that the hind wasn't going to be in pr because it isn't used by the Russian Military because of its unreliability.
