I dont have, but when you release ARMA2 R, I will buy it.

since i dont plan to spend money in too much other games i would buy it only for PR:ARMA2

I dont have one but I certainly do want one so before end 2010 otherwise better luck next year

I got myself FreeTrack in the hope of someone modding Arma2, so i could use it. So far thats not possible but its not big of a deal either because it wasnt expensive. The purchase of TrackIR depends on how much i will enjoy A2 on my new PC. Its not cheap with a price of 150€, but if its worth the fun and the experience i would buy it.

Dude pls tell me how to get it working in BF2 so far if I even have it running at the same time my bf2 CTD's.

For ArmA2 it is MUST have. Infantry and ESPECIALLY flying. It gives so much immersion. If I ever for get to start it before the game, i HAVE to back out and start Track IR its THAT important, trust me guys, its awesome.

Freetrack is now supported in A2 BTW

Really, as to all these other comments about "I plan on/am getting/have bought x, y and z" are kinda hilarious seeing as the reasoning the posters give isn't even released, and we know as much about PR:A2 as we did about BF:BC2 when that first teaser came out, [BFBC] The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Debut Trailer



In any case, I've got FSX, DCS:BS, and I've had Arma II for a while now, so I'm thinking of investing in one at some point in the future. Perhaps if and when DCS:A-10C is released, maybe sooner.

Once PR:ArmA2 comes out, most likely I will get to FreeTrack and get some LEDs and a cheapo depo webcam

did not familiar with it until now. watched some videos and I'm really curious how much efficient and useful this thing is? :/

More efficient than you can ever imagine, and if you are a pilot it is ESSENTIAL!

I dont see the point of a track IR. Yes, its awesome how the view turns as you move your head, but guess what, if you move your head...you are not watching the screen no more.

definitely will be buying trackIR soon!

....how does this keep coming up? In fact its impossible to move your head and not your eyes (Unless your looking at the tip of your nose.) :-p

Its a bit weird at first because you turn your head an not your eyes. Its not as alien as you might think and in a few tries it become natural. In fact you probably do it everyday in front of the computer. Someone says something, you start to turn your head but the LOL cat video is about finished
so your eye are stuck to the monitor then you eyes follow your head to the speaker....its basically that same thing. All you married guys know this exact move.

Shame it doesnt work with PR ..... that would give me an incentive ...

I would buy but maybe when price is cheaper and support is better

Wait 4 years for the price to go down and more games to come out for it. Remember a couple years ago this cost thousands of dollars. Also I need a better computer to play most games which use this.
