I do support PRVs incorperation into PR, to keep the community together, but I will not be looking forward to the large download size.

I hope it will be incorporated into the main build, so servers can switch between the 2 versions simply by changing maps. Most modern connections can stomach to download 4 gigs or more. If it takes you like a couple of hours, well you really cant wait 2-6 hours to play the mod, after you waited months and weeks for the update ? Really ?

I would say add it into the normal PR:bf2 cuz it would mean more players.

I would say dont add it into the normal PR:BF2 cause it would mean less players.

No offense TrahnLee but I doubt every PR player would want to play Vietnam and DL a huge *** file (i believe the downloading will pretty much turn down most of the people)

We're still discussing it.

However, the argument of "i doubt every PR player would want to play Vietnam" doesn't hold, as people also have their preferences within PR, for example not liking Insurgency, or play as Brits, etc.

But as said, we're still discussing it. Personally, I don't mind, I'll play PR:V one way or another :p .

Wasnt really an argument it was more an expression of opinion :p (and as we all know opinion cant be valid/invalid, however it can be ignored :p )

I don't think it would mean a different download for PR:V if it would be incorporated with PR,
and I don't think that many players will switch if they find a vietnam map in the servers map rotation

I expect 'most people' will happily accept a larger file size for a significant increase in new content and for the sake of keeping the community together.

Tranhlee said if it was incorporated the core PR:V files would only be around 500mb, which seems little to me compared to the total file size of PR. More old maps can also be removed/packed separately if needed to keep down the level file size.

I would like it very much, especially for the smaller communities like Australia where we only pull off 1 full server a night, it would be a great shame to have to split that up and have say 40 on PR and 20 on PR:V.

just make it a game mode so like insurgency it says veitnam or something along those lines. or maybe have different selections on the main menu

I would say incorporate it into PR main build, but release the 'Nam map pack as a separate object, like "Levels Part 3 - Vietnam' or sth. This would give an opportunity for players that are not "hype'd" about 'Nam to either DL it or not, but will still keep the community together.

I would really like to have it integrated so only the servers would change the maplists...

Easier for us players too, and you can use this menu allready as it doesnt matter :D

So when a server like -Cough- TG -Cough- switches to a vietnam map, you suddendly crash out of the server because you lack the map? Mkay... :? :
