Keep at it! I'm watching this thread closely. Like I've said previously, I'm lovin' the map location that you've chosen.

The river... it looks almost like Baikonour city!
Loving the layout.
Loving the layout.

Re: [Map] Nasiriyah (4km) [WIP]
Good to see you are still working on it.
However it looks good, keep it up!
Well it's a 4km map so I can't see any reason for not having tanks and helicopters on it from a map size point of view. But I'm not a mapping DEV so I can't tell.Titan wrote:the asset layout is something you have to convince the Dev`s about... at the moment there is an m1a1 but also an cobra ... dont know what will be there in the end.

Excellent mate, its coming together very nicely, I like the overgrowth arrangements as well very natural looking.
one point the 'build it yourself' kit that your using for the outlying villages is VERY inefficient, use it sparingly, where possible use the kashan village statics (watch out for the destructable object limit) as well as vbf2 village statics, iirc only 1 is enterable, but the ruins static is always good to use as its good cover and looks quite nice.

also Rhino has put some wheat bits together etc, so you might wanna play
keep it up mate
though I'd remove a few of the floors from the apartment buildings, they are lovely enterables but if you have more than 4 floors imo its alot of wasted enterable space.

Wauw, I'm impressed! This is probably the best looking WIP-map I've seen in a long time!
Please keep up the good work - I can really see this one work for some truly epic battles!
BTW, good to see that you use a lot of open terrain in your map; It enhances the realistic feel, and provides lots of different options of approaches for BLU.FOR. Don't work too hard on filling out the empty spaces!

Re: [Map] Nasiriyah (4km) [WIP]
I know its wip so its still time to suggest something. Try to make spaces between buildings, on the sides of the road, on the outskirts of the city more used.. put some trash, tables, boxes and different stuff around.
Even if its a clean city, it must havee some dirty stuff inbetween. Adds to the detail, realism and gameplay (cover, etc..
