Did you try deleting your cache?

My dude.... have this crazy grass...too...

also in this map...

I get it as well when running on medium settings. Which I'm doing because I lag on every map.

I encounter the same coloured grass problem on the Lashkar Valley map after I installed the incremental patch to version 0.917. I'm playing on lowest video settings (everything set to low or off, view distance set to 100%) in 800x600 resolution. My specs are:

Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
2 GB DDR-333 RAM
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600/9700 Series 128MB RAM
Onboard sound card

I deleted the cache, but that didn't help to solve the problem.

The colourful grass is the .917's key feature. It severely enhances performance.

Unfortunately I do not get this grass on all high settings.

Damn, never had this before, but i'm running almost everything on high settings.

Looks like the testers do so as well.

Have to look into it, might be a buggy OG atlas. Strange it doesn't happen on high gfx though.

Seems to be an ATI thing to me my mate runs a gforce and has no issue....

i have ati and i have that crazy grass..

I get it if i lower my settings.

Yeah i think i'll keep it the way it is.


Known issue, already fixed it.

you can tell that they were high when they were *fixing* it

Clearing Cache: 2 approaches
1. Delete the contents (files and folders) inside "My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache"
2. Use BF2cleaner: in "Graphics Cache" section click "Cleanse Files"

I get that too on Lashkar, the poppy fields are sweet too. i often stop there and burn a doobie:mrgreen
