0.4 Operation Ghost Train. I remember starting PR and loading on OGT and being super impressed with the atmosphere of the jungle. Good times.

v 0.85 Kashan Desert, Battleforce training server. Played on the US team for one round then MEC. Learned to use a variety of kits and vehicles. I was training there about 2 months and then I was ready to join other servers.

Barash on .5, on tactical gamer. I just remember this amazing feeling come over me. I'm serious. It was just orgasmic to put it in one word.

Well I don't go way back like other people in here do. My first PR experience about about 8 months ago. I discovered Project Reality via YouTube video I stumbled upon.

The video was about 8-9 minutes long. It was an intense firefight in Korengal Valley for the outpost. The video was taken from the point of view of US Medic and the US were defending the outpost from a relentless insurgent attack. I remember being so on edge the entire video, watching the epipen slam into the chest of the soldiers as grenades flew off and the medic himself bled. It was so suspensful. I had to download PR.

The first map I played (other than training servers) was of course Korengal Valley. I played US with a specialist kit. I had an excellant squad with great communication that showed me the ropes (Specialist humor haha! Ropes! Get it?). Anywho, I've been hooked ever since!

.85 My dad introduced it to me so i installed bf2v (had the game ever since it came out but never had a cmp tht could run it) and played with him and more family on OGT as brits and twas a terrific experience now i stay up all night and sleep all day to play

Hmm .. my first map was either oasis or karkand v2. (was there ever karkand at night?)

I remember only wanting it because it had blood i think. also it was a relatively small download (mini mod) so I wanted to try it out.

0.32 for sure, I think my first map was Oasis, but I'm not sure.

Yeah. Back in the day when we still had the extraction game mode. An SUV rumbles through the dim streets of Karkand, trying to evade MEC roadblocks and make good the escape.


While a littlebird flits around above, with 4 idiots armed with light machine guns and rocket launchers haning off the benches blasting everthing that moves!

I came in like the early .7 or so era,
I believe my first match was on Kashan Desert, I was amazed with all the stuff I read from the guide, It was quite a good deal for downloading @ 64 kb/s

PRMM v0.2, Dragon Valley 16p (vbf2 kinda setup), can't remember much more than that was so long ago

Raid on moskiye was the craziest map ever for VIP!

There was large domes of death around them but ye, still many people could easily camp.

I found my true skill in PR as a medic, I enjoy'd being a medic. But by the time PR made the medic a limited Kit. It really became fustrating seeing as half the time rambo's don't really grab medi-kits.

IDK how some of you guys can remember your kits, even the ones who recently started playing...my first I believe was .5 Al-Basrah, though I'm not sure. May have been Thors Brigade or Battlearena.

Yes 03 was the best, later by 04 was the problem the chopper warm up time, and the M4. And the low noise sniper from US was pritty cool

And first time 0.22 or 0.25 Kakanty 2
