I'm going to focus on the gameplay changes, as I think those are the most important.
3rd) New INS rules and a better ROE system:
Sometimes insurgency was just hella hard for even an organized BluFor team to win. Now with the changes the battle is balanced a little more, sometimes even going so far as to be unbalanced towards RedFor. Overall I like the changes, but some other tweaks wont hurt.
2nd) New Rally Point and FO system:
I won't lie. I loved the beta testing on a handful of servers back in .87. That really made the difference between me liking the game and loving it. By the time .9 made it permanent I was in love all over again. Besides the new interface is 100x more user friendly.
1st) Squad Leader Radio, CAS marking system:
Such an important aspect of the game is coordination between squads. The Squad Leader Radio and GLTD marking system really smooth the system out alot and helps cut the chatter down and allow for a general sense of how the map is playing out.
