This is my 3-4 fav kit. like the changes too, trip flares are a great help now i can hide in the defence and listen for the trip flares to go off while watching squad mates backs. M4-reddot AP win.

Got like 15 kills on technicals this way. The driver usually lasts about 20 more seconds after the explosion before he bleeds out. But all his little friends in the back die right on cue. They have no idea what hits em. So fun.
You are a horrible horrible person! lol

Dropping Claymores down ladders is a tricksy way of defeating potential ambushers. ;)

Only time i used the Rifleman AP is if i'm the spotter in a sniper team, in which case it is lethal when you get compromised and need to get out quick. Best one is to drop the sniper kit with a claymore on it then fall back and hit them all when they try to rush the kit :D Works a treat.

I don't tend to use this squad when in a regular AAS squad though. I imagine it would be very effective on a map like Ochamachira, and deffinately in the Dragonfly tunnels. However i have not field tested either of these methods yet.

From field manual:
"c. Ambush. CLAYMORE mines provide an excellent, economical means for establishing effective ambushes deep in enemy territory with a minimum use of friendly personnel. Small groups can easily transport a large number of CLAYMORES; for example, one man can carry six CLAYMORES "

6 would be awesome...

I quite like the AP kit when my team is playing the defending role. Once put like 8 claymores all around the cache area then hid. When all my team mates went down I waited for 45 seconds then blew the lot up, taking out all the BLUFOR.

The're not much use on offence though, I think the only time I got a AP mine kill while attacking was when our squad decided to hold up in a building and I covered the stairs with a mine, but a gun would have been more effective.

All I have to say is that I have never seen anyone in any squad or team I have ever played in take the AP class.
