The reason you like the marksman kits is because of the lower deviation =)

M14 is basically a single fire AK, however the deviation is much much lower.

heh, after reading this thread last night i went straight onto co-op mode and started playing with this new fangled unscoped M14. how long has this been available?!? it was better than christmas. no shit.

I cant believe people didnt notice it, I swear it was announced in the major changes. I knew that it would happen before the version was given out. How? i dont remember.

I used the ironsight Dragunov SVD as Taliban on Korengal Valley. The thing was godly in the caves because it killed the US Army guys in one shot.

They only put in the M14 unscoped beacuse its a bit used IRL but unlike to chinese marksman and dragnov dont have any sights and are not unscoped alot IRL

I wouldnt say that ... Look at the Dragonov again ... try requesting the weapon they Do have sights..

And the Chineese gun Does have sights under the Scope look at it next time you have the weapon in your hands

I don't like all un-scoped marksman rifles, but I like almost al un-scoped LMGs. Ohh god that iron sight M249 is lovely to support your fellow squadmembers. Especially in Insurgency, when you see a insurgent taking the kit, looking dissapointing that it doesn't have a scope. And then knifing them in de back. But it fills the role of supporting more when using the iron sights

I wonder if it is possible to give things ... .5 or 1/2 zoom? lol that could be used for unscoped marksman kits and unscoped LMGS

Wasnt it the other way round just a few versions ago. I remember people beeing like "finally scoped LMGs yeaaaah" and now its the other way round

No thanks, I'd rather not be zoomed in any amount when I'm in close quarters combat.

The point of the unscoped kits isn't to kill far away targets without having a scope, it's for situations where a scope(or any zoom) isn't needed.

PR isn't Arma, we can't just hit a button and have 1x zoom anytime, if they added zoom to a weapon, you would be forced to use that zoom, at all times.(Unless you fire from the hip)

i hate iron sight. scope win 110%

I prefer the unscoped marksman over the scoped for some odd reason. It's weird cause I do pretty decent with it as well, not to toot my own horn or anything. The IDF marksman unscoped is badass as well for CQB, full auto with an aimpoint.

It Sure is funny how the PR world works ... I guess the #1 Main reason every one was SOO happy with the scoped rifle is because you had this Zoom Like on the PKM where you are looking through iron sights and some times you cant always see in detail what you need to see..

but NOW the main thing is close combat, i find the unscoped LMG BEASTLY on maps such as Korengal or lashkar. when you have a unscoped Lmg set up on a short hill facing an open valley it becomes very effective when you dont want to zoom in on a single person and you can spray an enemy squad down..

Perhaps ... unscoped marksman kits could have a Factional effect LIKE the russian PKM

How there is a slight zoom for iron sights with the pkm. ( not 100% if changed for .91 ) but for the effect that the soldier handeling the weapon is more trained on the weapon would give them a better advantage aka 1/2X zoom or what ever it may be
