Indeed. As this subject have been brought to public attetion so many times lately, I thought I can toss my couple of cents to the pile too.

Here is one of my favourites. Check the message at top edge of the picture:

As stated in our latest clan meeting, taking those kits out while highly frowned upon is not a kickable offense in our server unless we catch someone intentionally giving them or taking it out and switching sides. If that was recent, take it to our forums.

TBH, if I was an admin, I would put that warning message mUCH bigger - he probably took a HAT or Combat Engi and was going to run out of main and die and get owned.

And he said "please". I honestly never had any trouble with admins in Hardcore insurgency. In fact, it is (or at least was until last month) one of the best teamwork servers around. Sure there are some people I dislike in the server, but every server has one!

I took my concern to your feedback thread here at realitymod.com when I've had enough. My posts had no effect.

Your server was one of - if not THE - favourite server of mine. I played there a lot and back in the days I also donated considerable amount of money to help keeping the server running. I probably would have donated more, but then God knows what went wrong and the server started to become what it is today. I tried to give it a chance but then I realized it's not going to change anytime soon. So I stopped playing. I also suggest that anyone who have had problems with this particular server go somewhere else.

I sort of remember that one. Been kicked 2 times for that, once I was hiding the kit back in main on F.west after some other dude had managed to lose it, and the other time I had just picked up a enemy hat kit on gaza and was running to drop it in the sea.

No hurt feelings tho. People who give the insurgents hat kits should be shot

unless that rule is clearly stated, how is someone suposed to know their doing something wrong.

now i dont know if anyone has noticed, but this is the way all servers a run. assets are given to preferentially clan members, and most of the time the teams are stacked with clan members on one side. i remember when i was in good with one clan, they offered to teamswitch me.

i once accidently took a sniper kit that a clan member had requested. rather then simply ask for it back, they force-killed me and just took it.

Play on the TG server then. While its not always perfect, stuff like that does not happen.
Maybe because TG isn't a clan as such.

ive been banned from TG since .8 for no apperent reason. ive asked them about it but it, and have yet to get a response.

so i dont play anymore, at all. which begs the question, why am i still on the fourms?

you wouldn't have been banned for one incident afaik, especially since the rules were that you can run over dudes who are a direct threat to your vehicle. Remember there is a bug where if you join at 62 people without a membership you will get a banned message.

Dunno I got kicked for saying there rules are OTT with the message if you dont like it dont play here so never been back.
Also been auto kicked for swearing in L chat to much even tho i was in a SQ of adults who were swearing like troopers on mics.

On topic of =H= maybe a few on the server cheat but it would never be a H member. Played with allmost all of them and thay are legit players what makes it look like thay are cheating is prolly that thay all tend to play on one team and win alot due to expirence vs a casual team as after awile you can prodict where cache will spawn rather easy.

Again, I have stated in the =]H[= HARDCORE thread that I need solid proof, transscipts, vids, battlerecorder info, anything that backs up any accusations against a =]H[= member. Without any solid proof I cannot do anything. All I am seeing here is words with nothing to back them up.

The picture of one of my members on the staircase shows nothing, he is not inside the staircase nor in the walls, he simply jumped on the railing and went prone.

For the many of you that continue to play on our servers day after day we thank you, it is you guys that make our server the team oriented server that it is today.

Thats because if I ever catch a =]H[= member cheating I would lock them out of the HARDCORE GAMING CLAN in a heart beat. They all know I do not tolerate anything in regards to cheating, hacking, etc.
The HARDCORE GAMING CLAN is a fair play, no cheat clan.

Listen, we have all heard the argument before concerning this 'ordained' attitude of "Don't like the way we run our server? go elsewhere then!". Let me explain it to you so that even you may understand.

Sometimes, its not about the luxury of one server over another. Sometimes its an issue of ping. An issue of language or map rotation. We as a community are very tight knit. There are very precious few of us that play this game as compared to more mainstream titles.

Yet we continue to play because PR is a great game. In most ways, superior to most/any mainstream title.

So we continue on with about 2 servers continually full, and 5 full during a 4 hour peak for every time zone. Usually, this boils down to H servers and TG. Most other servers have a ping of 9000 or simply don't speak the same language.

This is not ENTIRELY your fault, server admins (especially H, the topic of this thread). For you see, the devs should have included a few clauses in their server license system that would forbid youf rom using your administrative powers to alter the actual outcome of battle.

This can take place in many ways. W/K/B is not followed, admins using their status to become the dictator of the battlefield (as opposed to the COMMANDER), players constantly kicked for making 'bad decisions' (let me make this perfectly clear, kicking someone for "Asshatery" has no actual definition. Its always what YOU deem "Asshatery").

This game needs to evolve, and part of that evolution must at some point include safeguards against adminstrative abuse.

And for those of you who say it would be impossible to enforce, your kidding yourselves. It would literally be like creating 10 or so new moderators for a damn forum who would decide if their was a breach of pr server license based on evidence. Evidence, which brings me to my next point.

Yes evidence. Its just so convenient that most of the valid or 'suspicious' complaints end up deleted on your forums. I myself was banned for sounding like someone you knew who had been banned before for hacking. I asked you to review the br to confirm if I was indeed hacking. Your admins literally told me, OVER YOUR OWN VENT, "...Better Safe Than Sorry..." I am to this day banned from your server.

So you need solid proof to punish an H member, but a regular pubber is guilty untill proven innocent? Clever! Its almost like hypocrisy! Oh wait, thats EXACTLY what it is.

I wonder H, how many other posts like mine have been drowned out on your forums, deleted because they did perhaps read like you were too heavy handed, too eager to use whatever power might have been at your disposal? How many others like me are there? Perhaps not many LEFT at all. Locking someone out of a game can do that to any person.

I don't get the whole don't take a HAT in insurgency or we will kick you rule. This really is quite dumb. The HAT is in the game and is an asset to the team that has it and you can use it on not just armor but buildings as well and is a useful tool in the game. Just because the enemy may get there hands on it is a stupid reason to boot someone. A good player will adapt to the situation and overcome their enemy, not boot players out and ruin their fun just so you dont have to be in that situation. Plus how is it any different on a map where both teams have HATs? I don't know to me if it wasn't meant to be that way the DEVs wouldn't have allowed you to use it in insurgency. All that rule does is start arguments and ruins fun. Just enjoy the game how it is. All is fair in love and war.

Hardcore is filled with Admins who abuse power, specially if something effects them personally. I have, and have and had friends encounter problems with their admins on a regular biases for violating rules their forum server rules DO NO DISPLAY. They just call things asshating then continue to do it themselves. The adminning is poor and unfair.

Ohh I can go play somewhere els? I am more then welcome to not play on your server? SURE ill choose a sever in soviet russia with a ping of 250+ or maybe ill join an empty server. You IDIOTS your server is competing with 2 other servers, PEOPLE DONT HAVE THE FLEXIBILITY YOU CLAIM. If they did im sure they would move on to somewhere more fair and fun, somewhere unbias. Btw thos 1 or 2 playable servers i mentioned... sometimes i dont feel like 24/7 muttrah. H is fail, someone start a new server plz so we can out these jerks.

Edit: Why do I bother... The game is called Project Reality, staying on top of a roof with half your body out is a engine issue. But trying to get on that rail, jumping until you get there... Just my stupid mind. Forgive me for posting here.

Most of this is pretty true. I've had some interesting stuff occur on the Hardcore servers. It's mostly just the stack stuff that bothers me though.

The other night was a great example of this. There was a squad bug on the team opposite of the H guys and they WOULD NOT restart the server, admin was available, but hey they were winning why would they want a restart?
