Work on the model continues.
I have a lot of free time this week, so I am going to try and concentrate on modeling. Seems every time I sit down to model, I do a little bit, get depressed and go do something else.

Anyone got any tips for keeping concentrated?

Focus and motivation is always a problem.
I always feel the most motivated when im not sitting down modelling, rather I get the ideas for example when I'm at work or out running errands. I always keep some piece of paper and a pen at hand thou to write down ideas when they pop up.
I also try to make a plan on what to do before-hand, so that when you sit down to model you dont have to think so much about the modelling, and instead just execute everything you've planned.
Very nice coming along with the model, how are you going transfer it to a bump-/normalmap ?
(..Still learning here !)

I plan to bake it like this:
Using High Poly 3D Models as Normal Maps In Theory & Practice - NFSCars Forums
I hope to get working on it more after next week, when my exams are over, until then I have to dedicate most of my time to studying.

My 3dsmax stopped working a few days ago and I've been trying to get it working again, with no success. I've posted on the autodesk forums though and other people are having similar problems so I hope a solution is found soon. Before it died I had managed to get some progress done though.

nice that the comfac's are starting to include custom supplyvehicles, this really add's more depth, makes them stand out more from the factions currently ingame who, except for the brits, seem to use only american and russian supplytrucks.

Well, this took much longer than it should have, had quite a bit of difficulty with getting both sides to fit perfectly. Other than a few tweaks here and there though, I think the high-poly tire is done. Now on to the back, and trying to make a convincing cloth tarp.
