Couple things.

Firstly had a good couple rounds today, my clan pretty much took over the Insurgent side on Karbala and later US on Muttrah so tbh thats more to do with playing with my mates than anything else but they were still decent games.

However the smart balance is horrible, in the space of 10 minutes I had 4 of my squad members switched to the other side and this is not good for morale or enjoyment when you're trying to play with friends. I'd strongly request that you reconsider how this works.

In addition it seems that the above quote is incorrect, high ping kick is enabled as one of my clanmates was kicked twice for this. He suffers from very occasional ping spikes which are frustrating enough but when he gets kicked for it it makes it not even worth playing. A high ping kick does not even make sense to use as high ping for one player does not affect the rest of the server population at all, so please consider removing it.

Yeah, as Jiggy says, the High Ping Kick can be a bit of a drag. If my ping was consistently high, I'd expect lag or a kick or whatever but I had 1 lag spike followed by an automated kick. I waited for my ping to settle and attempted to rejoin but was instantly kicked again. I'd been playing for quite some time before this happened with no ping issues, it's just a shame that 1 spike gets people kicked.

We have recently moved server provider and we are still making the adjustment to not having BF2-CC. I have now located the ping kicker and will turn it off which will fall in to line with our statements as quoted.

As for the smart balance, we use ad_scripts same as eveyrone else so I don't see how our smart balance can be any different to the smart balance on any other server that uses these scripts.

As for the balance thing. I don't know about every type of balance script or how they work but... I don't remember the last time I was removed from my squad and dumped on the opposing team. Balancing usually affects players that have just joined the game or whatever. The point is, if I'm playing with friends in a squad, that is where I want to stay. If I get switched, I'm going to see all the enemy locations that I don't want to see and I will do everything I can to get switched back to play with my buddies. This can result in me being inactive for the team I've been switched to, meaning that the extra player that team was given as a result of the switch isn't helping at all.

I was having a good game on Muttra my I was squad medic and we got ambushed at the gas station about 30 mins into the round. I fell back to wait for it to quiet down and do some reviving but the LAV showed up and it was good night from them and good bye from me. I then went off looking for your FOB as there was no way back as you guys was advancing fast. I found the fob then took up a obbs post over looking docks on one of the buildings. 2 hueys came in landed and took it on themselves to tell the attack huey that the guy with the USMC helmet wasnt what he seamed and had the pants of a MEC. The attack huey duly showed up hoverd about 10 mtrs in front of me just to do a visual ID of the suspected spy. AH f**k ive been made as the 8 rockets blew me clean off the roof. Nice flying by the way. Dam fine game hope to see you on again soon.

Al Basrah has been great and well populated, my only gripe is that the server seemed to be restarted quite a few times over the last couple of days and kept knocking everyone off. However its only a minor issue, so great job keep it up *NWA*!

Over the past couple of weeks we have been bedding in the new server. We are operating this one with a different format than prevous and as such are getting used to the new server interface.

We are pleased with the new servers performace so far, with only a few minor hic-ups resulting from the initial set-up period. We're now looking forward to a greater conistentcy of service.

I don't believe it is. I've just posted on our own forum to see if it is and if not, when it might be activated. Will get back to you when I know.

The map list changes often to keep things fresh and to seak out server crashes. Some maps crash the server when run after certain other maps. We have narrowed it down and the server is running alot more stable.

Been waiting on a feedback thread for this server for ages.

My favourite server in PR by far and the one I look for first. It's main advantage is not suffering from relentless team stacking ever which seriously brings down most of the "big name" servers like *H* and UKWF in particular. Admins are very helpful and have dealt with every guy I've reported although the lack of admins in the early hours of the morning when smacktards have been around has been unfortunate. (bear in mind I haven't had internet access for 4 months so it may be different now)

The only criticism I have of the server is that the maplist gets a little stale when it isn't changed for a while.

I strongly recommend this server to all UK players.

Will you make your maplist "intel" public so other communities/server can benefit as well?

We use game tracker on our clan website main page and that keeps track of every player who visits the server. We know the regulars also so it makes for a nice reward knowing that helping to populate the server and doing good team work will get a free slot for upto 3 weeks. So no more waiting to get on your favourite. server
