Fun times on Kashan last night, our squad set up defenses at North Village, another capped the bunkers pretty quick, but half our team was still at base arguing over what aircraft each would get. After they finally got done arguing over assets like a bunch of spoiled brats, they proceeded to burn through all kinds of fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and armor assets they could in an astounding amount of time. All requests for supports were pretty much ignored, instead they decided to go "hunting" which must've been their code-word for "get shot down repeatedly by AA"

After fighting off enemy armor attacking north village with TOWs and a HAT kit, we decided to get on of the many asset squads to try and get us a lift to bunkers. We mounted up in a blackhawk, and flew to bunker, we took rifle fire coming in, and ignoring constant warnings to abort the landing, the chopper pilot landed anyways, entire squad slaughtered as soon as we hit the ground.

Respawned, we defend North Village further as the only other INF squad makes good progress and caps out both bunkers. We start taking sniper and HAT fire from the ridge between north village and our base, and after repeatedly trying to hail the constantly-dying apache, we decide to once again trust the blackhawk pilot to do some orbits and finish these pests off with the miniguns. Chopper lands, we mount up, and he proceeds to completely ignore us to go where we tell him to go. (Same chopper pilot from before, who is at this point 0-9, indicating he has lost 9 helicopters so far) says "we need to attack the objective!" (south village.) Along with him basically kidnapping our squad, he decides not to drop us away from a clearly defended enemy objective, but instead to land right in the goddamn middle of it. We get lit up by AA as soon as we land, at least this time 3 of us managed to survive long enough to get to cover, chopper get blown out of the sky shortly after taking off, and we are eventually overwhelmed.

tl;dr: Helicopters are like cat-nip for morons.
