I totally agree to Mega. Passwords ARE needed! I got Tk'd numerous times. And after we went over to Fallujah west - majority of the players didnt have mumble. The best part of the event was the start up - Skirmish Fallujah. You could actually see some teamwork going on.. Atleast then people had mumble.

And please, for tomorrows event ( Saturday's ) ensure that theres a password on the server first. And issue it via mumble :)

What could've been a great event - turned out to be a wreck. Meh, I'm dissapointed.

It got better after a while, but that TK'ing and **** at the start was bad.

Now, onto the big blob of death that snaked it way onto the last two caches on Al Basrah:

That's one part of the advance, my squad was in the middle at the time.

Here's the map view.

We eventually overran the palace and my squad got across the river. Don't know exactly who took out the two caches on the island, though.

All squads full/locked/non english. Not everybody on mumble.

I had a great round on TG instead.

I don't say this a lot, but EPIC, EPIC round of insurgency on Karbala. Lasted over 3 hours. Excellent teamwork and commanding.

So generally a good round, and we will think hard and fast about PWing for the next time, as our popularity grows we can perhaps take this next step, we were naturally reluctant to do this at first.
I apologise for the noobishness at the beginning and we will try harder with non mumble kicks and believe me our ultimate goal is awesome teamwork using 100% mumble.

I would ask nicely that any clans do have a look at team distribution to keep the well experienced clan squads evenly spread in the two teams.

Although I think that naturally on insurgent maps there is slightly less teamwork than on AAS. Many thanks to Zebra actual and fighter for all their hard work last night and not forgetting 0blivi0us on his one man mumble crusade, he even had a Mumble help squad up last night!

If anyone needs any help with mumble once installed don't hesitate to use the Admin channel for any questions too.

I assassinated Star.

Filthy Insurgent commander smells like pigs. :D

Then he came back and blew me up with a C4 bike, thanks to the idiot that walked into their mosque with the CE kit.

I think once a good solid audience is in place for the server, adminning will begin to get a little harsher to prevent what was described above.

we had a couple of full squads, yes. We had 1 locked squad, yes. We had one Spanish speaking clan fielding a squad, yes. We had a 2 man squad which was never filled because the "oooh less than 4 people in squad...im leaving" mentality some people have.
Tartan only one was on the Island the other was in the palace iirc.
The second last cache that was taken out, by Pr0totype, was in the pool next to the palace.
