I hate it when some retard makes a 'NO MIC' squad. It pisses me off i mean how are you going to have fun if you do not play with teamwork in PR

Medic, it's just not my thing really and I know that other players feel the same way, but you all must admit, those days when you just want to go out and help kill things, and then your SL asks you to go medic, and your heart sinks, and you reluctantly take your spot in the middle of the squad and mope around picking up people for the rest of the game, I'm sure some people enjoy it, I'm just not one of them

Snipers are far too often a wart on the otherwise pretty face of teamwork in PR.

Someone without a microphone does not immediately represent someone without teamwork.

Tho making a "NO MIC" squad is kina redundant, if you have no mic fine you can still operate in squads effectively but dont try and group other people with no mics in one squad for some hardcore typefest.

Aye, a squad can cope with one micless guy, but gathering 6 together makes the squad next to useless.

Sniper and Marksman. I only run infantry squads, and snipers are pretty much dead-weight if i want to assault anything. With the scoped rifleman kit i find marksman to be a vestigial asset to my squad. Even the "Sniper as observer" is false considering every squad leader has a GTLD, every squad member has binocs, and a commander using his UAV can report enemy movements 10x more effectively than a sniper.
And for the love of god when are idiots going to stop requesting engineer kits on insurgency. IT SERVES NO PURPOSE except to be lost and provide the ability for insurgents to turn any vehicle into a carbomb. The last time i played Fallujah we were constantly being assaulted by suicide bikes thanks to "that guy"
tl;dr: Requestable Kits: Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I don't "hate" any one role, I hate the player who assumes that role is needed and takes the kit, meanwhile it is not, and the SL now has a CE kit he didn't need.

However, many squads are now named xxxxx VOIP, and their SL's usually will kick someone without a mic. If a server has several such named squads, usually six or seven guys are leftout of squads. I personally will create no mic squads because although yes, not as much intel can be transmitted between squadmates on text, if the squad sticks together and follows the SL's order markers, that squad should be fine. And text has to be used anyway to tell the rest of the team where the enemy is.

GAZZ,
First of all,.
I know how to utilize snipers in my squad, but i have no use for them. also the squad was what i call a "black hole" squad, the leader has no intention of leading and just has the squad so he doesn't get kicked, players join the squad again for kits (in which they lose because they are all spread out over the map doing their own thing).
I joined the squad for the lols and asked "what do you want me to do SL" he replied (in text) "i dont care, do what you want". I left.
Let me just get this straight, i like good snipers. Ive used the sniper to great effect and i know its full potential. Just ive never been lucky enough to have a good sniper on my team.

Ive seen good sniper squads, they are usually best when appearing to do very little. 90% should be observation. Almost no pub players have that kind of patience and pr requires lots of patience for the best tactics from what Ive seen
I dont think shooting the radio on a fob really works anymore but that kind of pivotal attack is what snipers do best. I used to use it for shooting rally points and laser for the cobra
In most pub games they end up fighting enemies a 100m away who know exactly where they are, a rifleman would do better
a "black hole" squad
Ideally the CO could disband such squads but it doesnt appear to be possible. Often people will cycle in and out to avoid squad leader.
Since none are prepared to follow orders, when Im cycled to the squad leader position I usually kick all members and leave myself for a properly run squad and hopefully improve the quality of the team in the process
if the squad sticks together and follows the SL's order markers, that squad should be fine. And text has to be used anyway to tell the rest of the team where the enemy is.
No mic doesnt stop tactics being used any more then having a mic guarantees good gameplay. People quite often use the mic too much and with **** info, 'I just got killed' is one common example. 'he's over there'

I'd rank a sl who moves the attack marker to the known enemies regularly over a guy who uses the mic every 10 seconds
Aye, a squad can cope with one micless guy, but gathering 6 together makes the squad next to useless.
Radio silence is one order not often used in game but has some worth I think. voip can be distracting and doesnt necessarily add any advantage, it can help and it can be a negative I think

Every kit is necessary, including Rifleman AA. We never have that kind of situation that needs Rifleman AA, cause squads prefer their own improved AA positions.
Sniper is useful in fire support too, but intelligence is primary.
Every single kit has jobs, but we don't play with them, because we like to do simple shit like shooting and moving. Disarming mines, target-marking and blowing up structures isn't always the right thing to do in operatons, That's why we forget some kits.

Snipers are totally useless in squads because of their settling time. If you want accuracy at great lengths, use the marksman kit. Its much more flexible, as you can your weapon at CQC and mid range combat as well.

The settling time almost makes the gun useless, I mean its just ridiculous how if you move after going prone just a little bit, your whole aim is messed up for like 10 seconds. It makes it useless. Why cant the team just make the gun move up and down with your breathing like all other games? They did it when you reload the gun!! The the sniper rifle needs a serious overhaul, and it also needs a one shot kill to the chest and head region.

I hate people that waste the insurgent cars. They jump in and one man them, then lose them right away, or dump them somewhere.
Those things can be used as improvised guntrucks and drive by IEDs. Or as a "taxI" going back and forth from the main or spawn location to get guys to the frotn faster.
Dont one man them!

I'd like to say I hate snipers too but they just aren't that important.
I hate being medic.
You have to stay hidden and as a result you are often the only left alive to kill the squad that wiped your squad out.
You know your SM are waiting on revive but you don't want to rush up and get killed ...so you wait and wait and then just as you get the first guy up and healed ....BOOM.
Now the rest of the squad hates you because it has been 4:20 since they died and they could have walked backward from the spawn in less time.
