i would like to comment something before the rounds of this weekend...

IMHO Some of u guys think that the SL channel somtimes its a caos? maybe, once of u know the voices of other SL´s giving u an advantge but for the new people there...

I talking about my personal situation, I use: TS2+Voip+Mumble+ SL´s channel+ play like SL + Lase opbjetives + Look the map permantly + hear the firefight... its too hard some many times.

Im playing like SL since 2 or 3 years... and this is the rounds that more demanding me. But i saw some details that we can improve.

Proper radio discipline and procedure makes all this a lot easier.
Something I find that very few people do, and which has made squad leading a much less stressful task for me, is to assign volume up and down keybinds/hotkeys in PRMumble 0.5. If there is a lot of stuff going on and many people talking at the same time, I can simply turn the volume of Mumble down and then turn it back up again when the situation has calmed down.
The same thing goes for other 3rd party VOIP programs such as TS or Vent, you can assign hotkeys for mute/unmute or volume up and down.

Yes i know i have a good map of hotkeys to mute unmute all comm. software... but really this its not enough, in the middle of a firefight u recive at the same time and without warning 1 TS information (spanish) + A guy close mumble... and sometimes two SL´s speaking about other situation on the map.

I can play and menage my squad with all this stress and with more i belive... but would be pretty nice to implement some procedures, im working in the spain army since a lot of time and i hear always the same sentence: "Our radio is our nervous system"

A good chances woul be:

1: To ask for incoming trasnmission
2: finished the transm. with ok, over, i will do, yeahhh or something similar
3: priority messages to the entire mesh (commander)

its only a detail, anyway this events had the best level of game of this mod. ;) and we will there ever

Good ideas Oteo worth a try:

So Squad 1 to squad 2 (or whatever - using SL's name is better) and wait for reply.

Lets try it tonight?

yes ploddi we can fight like pro´s :)

I was talking in mumble about other simple detail that possibly give to us a more clear radio transmisions...

3: priority messages to the entire mesh (commander)

When the comander need to say anything to all squads... more important like the combat. This procedure stop all and have priority.

We had some technical issues on today Insurgency event. We had no VOIP. Ticket is already submitted to server provider since it wasnt a trouble on our side. It should be good to go for tomorrow Teddy Bears.

Sorry for the inconveniences, we will wait for you tomorrow.

Friday is the old favourite maps with serious infantry action enjoying light asset support from the APC's coz as we all know those helis don't last long on Muttrah, will the US get set up at North in time, or will it be the poor docks defence squad that stop the Marines getting kicked back to the carrier.

Saturday is the heavy asset night get those lazes ready ask Mr Hyde if you have any problems with the procedures for putting down CAS markers.....There is still an alarming amount of SL's that don't do or know how to do this shit.
If you don't know ask someone, don't be shy!!

Mr Burton what's it to be Kashan 64 (air-planes only) or 32 with only helis, come on guys say which you prefer, I like helis, those planes are just too annoying.

I'd prefer 32. More people on the ground, right?
