After Apache'ing today, I must say keyboard. I wasn't flying and I knew it was better, my pilot managed to keep the chopper perfectly balanced so I could guide HF's with ease, and its only possible with the keyboard since the increments for each time you press coincide with when the chopper is at 0 throttle and on a flat plane, making it move back at about 1mm on the screen every second.

ok, as you may have noticed this is a very hotbutton issue. but there is only one answer to this question:

Whatever you feel comfortable with.

Personally, ive tried both the keyboard and mouse and a joystick. i failed miserably with both. i now use a Playstation style dual analog controler because i play alot of console games before starting on the PC.

mouse is best for beginer, its the easiest way to learn how to fly. Joystick is beter for experienced pilots, becouse its giving to them more posibility.

Mouse is good for small movements, when you have fly really low, or land at small roof.
Keybord is good for fast reaction, when someone is atacking you.
Joystick is what is the best from mouse and keybort together.

That is my personally experience.

More possibility? Saying the joystick is for experienced pilots just sounds elitist and silly to me.

How so?

Nah, I'm going with Wh33lman's view. Whatever you're used to and comfortable with is best.

Soldiers, keep your feet on the ground, don't fly.
Pilots, keep your shit in the air, don't come to fight on ground.

I nevr fly, never. I've started playing this mod in hope of realistic ground war and i will play as inf. I never even drive an APC or tank. ONly humvees and other light vehicles. Infantry will always be the real reason of playing this mod.

I have mine of max most of the time while flying (transport) to pull off sharp turns, although it can backfire and send you into a dive all too easily sometimes :P .

Cas choppers I will fly with max then go all the way down to minimum sensitivity when doing an attack run to get a more precise aim. Crank it back up and pull a sharp turn away.

I would like to use the Logitech G 940, is this a good idea...?
1990 - 1992, I used the complete Set from Thrustmaster, HOTAS and Pedals for the Game COMMANCHE, and that was an indescribable experience, and the prize to be converted to the same, only that the price tag was changed from DM ( Deutsche Mark ) to $, I am annoyed about the pricemarketing from Logitech
in US it kost 299 $ in Germany 299 $ , this is actually a different of 68 $

I have it at max as well. Like that you can react the fastest way.

When I went to Europe last year, I found that way too common. It's not just logitech unfortunatly.
