I, like hitperson have a vague memory of this being suggested before but I can't find the post.

if its possible, it would be worth it, going to the squad screen and trying to find the squad of a dude you need to do something with is kind of annoying.

GREAT suggestion. i have a hard time figuring out who's who using the map/squad panel.

These suggestions were in 2005/2007.. Both are still open Dx

I think if there's more than a year and a half, or three releases, between suggestions the threads should not be locked for resuggestion provided it isn't hardcoded.. things change, and so do opinions.

i agree totally, new members are added to the community and want to be heard. great way to involve them and make them feel like they are part of the community rather than the "search lock" or bump old thread "already been discussed, lock"

You couldn't really have red be a color for a squad, because in video game land, red = KILL.

not necessarily, in the BF1942 world red meant Axis, so if you were axis, you kill blue!

I made the mistake of playing BF2, THEN bf1942

I ended up with soooo many TK's before i learned D=



Anyways. In PR, u basically never see a red name unless you're a civi trying to piss someone off or meleeing someone

Yeah this would be nice too, but my idea was to be able to seperate members on the map.

Good idea, (although there already is the option to highlight the squad).
Open map click on player, they now show as white, view squad list to see which squad.
Or Click on squad in squad list, and all players of that squad are now highlighted in white

It would make that a bit easier and would work well for;

Pilots/Drivers
Commander
SLs

Would look nice and neat if the majority of squads were sticking together,
but would be a complete nightmare if all squads were inter mingled.

Information overload

Only read first page as I'm a busy busy person (believe it or not lol), and if this is possible I agree squad colours should be implimented!!

We already have white (if clicked) and green; surely others are possible?

Would be very good as sometimes trying to find a squad on the map and you can then quickly find it by colors

Also in tf2 it's red cd blue!!!
