Fairly simple, right?

If you asked what role I mostly play, it would be infantry squad leader.

I do CAS on all the map that has CAS.
i think cas works best with spotter lol or desperate squad leaders.

imo, the best and realistic way to play is what i would call spear [head] convoy (total combined arms/CAS). this is all players of a team working coherently together as combined arms CAS to accomplish the mission.

the spear "head" would be the heaviest units and assets. all jets, gunships, armor in front, then MECH INF [includes HAT INF], followed by light transport vehicles with INF; and all supporting each other, as one.

when a whole team works this way it is very effective, it is PR at its finest

My style is agressive, with alot of organization.
I like having a plan, i like working in a team.

Usually noone else does, so i either spam Team Chat, Mumble SL chat, or i go CO.

Usually i do the last, when i go CO. I get the team togheter and make them work togheter.

In Insurgency, i try to use all the units already avalible and communicate with them and set up CAS/Transport/APC etc.

Fire support. Then when i find the cache location or roughly thereof, i tell all units to setup in an open area outside that position, and slowly start moving in.

Nice thing about cas is to have SLs use Attack markers, i see the attackmarker, tell the pilots to sweep in. With minimum Casualties obviously.

But the most important thing, is to get all SLs to a certain level of cooperation, some SLs dont have control of their squads, so they cant follow orders effectivly.

Some SLs doesnt like taking orders, and some SLs are very yes sir, but completly lack any form of Tactical and situational skill.

But most SLs are very good, and can work in a team.

If i want to narrow my style it would be aggressive. But in that word, there is alot of tactics, and strategy. Since i dont belive you should assault an objective, unless you have some sort of backup avalible, either it is air or armor.

But i always belive infantry should take objectives, I Am An Infantry Whore.

I just do whatever the SL asks me to. So I guess my playing style is dependent on the leader. If I'm forced to lead or solo then I prefer going on the attack though.
