But thats the problem. You're taking a old engine thats optimized to run smaller maps, while being less detailed. Then you take a mod and try to strap on content way beyond the quality of the developers (DICE) intended. The game engine will simply say wtf and try its best, which isn't much. I guess reducing the resolution in textures was a stopgap measure and I hope to see this rectified within the next few patches.Claymore wrote:The previous version of PR was slow on a 3.4 ghz Quad + 4870x2 + 8gb mem.
