I agree. It would be all too easy for a .50 cal gunner to bring down, or at least deter that helicopter. And why must your AA squad be in another helicopter? Couldn't it be in APC or a transport Rover? Even an auto-rifleman should be able to turn off that annoying heli pilot. IRL, choppers have been brought down by just a few well-placed .50 cal hits to the engine and it's the same in PR.
