Panther will also be used as the Commander's vehicle for Engineer Troops, Anti-Tank, Mortar and supporting fire platoons.
Yay, a realistic TO&E, finally. No longer will we have an unorganised mess like in PR:BF2.

Yeah, now you can have "realistic" unorganised messes
A real TO&E is a great idea though and I can't wait to see it in full effect.

Looks promising!
But isn't the steering wheel supposed to be in the right side of the vehicle in the British Panther?
And I can't believe there's no protective windshield on the Jackal 2, just like some of their Land Rovers. The Brits are crazy! Anyone who knows the reason behind this?

Fantastic work as always guys. Hopefully ArmA2's engine has given you more room to exercise your talent. We'll see

The Panther is based on the Iveco LMV, an Italian vehicle. I imagine the MoD decided it was simply not worth it/too difficult/costly to change the steering wheel and other associated parts.
One of the armoured guys may be able to answer better than me but I believe the idea behind not having a windscreen (which will need a much more solid, bulky frame) is to increase driver and commander visibility. Oh yes, and the GPMG might get in the way. Be a shame to break the windscreen for every first shot fired while out on patrol/ops
Quick question, will we get a GMG version of the Jackal for Infantry recce formations?

I'm excited to see what PR bring to arma in terms of the teamwork table. they aready have a good game with arma alone, but the teamwork on comms and squads as a collective never really made it. i've been playing regular arma alot these days, tweaking stuff to get use to the ARMA PR, and i'd have to say i've gotten better at BF2 PR because of it.

Jackal will come in both variants Yes.
Jackal has no windscreen as we are all Hard as Nails ..... Simple.
Panther is left handed as was stated, it was a direct purchase for the MOD, and they are all left handed.

You didn't get the wrong one, you're just missing the other half now

If you install Operation Arrowhead on top of ARMA 2 the installation will turn into Combined Operations.

Yeah but ArmA II alone costs around 40$ + Arrowhead around 35$. Combined Operations costs only 45$. So you can say he threw 30 bucks out of the window

Thats because its the British using it .....lol.
If it was a US purchase it would have 2, and a microwave, Sony Radio, Reverse parking sensors, cruise control, built in SAT NAV/TV, central locking, electric windows and a free set of Panther floor mats made from 100% wool.
