it was removed to make it easier to play without a commander, so you would not be at to much a disadvantage if you did not have a CO

Btw in your vision of this gamemode does it include disabling spawn on fobs via enemy troop proximity?

FOB mechanics stay the same...

That way if "foces" you to make additional FOB behind, like a defending flag so youget reinforcements from there.
