As Danke said, the official version is being worked on.
Why did you not just say this in the first place then!?

That's all I was asking when I started my thread but Jigsaw locked it before anyone could post a helpful reply such as yours.
You're my new favourite Project Reality guy...

Because that has always been the case, nothing has changed in that respect.

We're not implying that at all, it is simple fact that with less control and more people working on something the chances of errors occuring increase exponentially.

Yes that was over a year ago... a little reminder to the fans of PR that you were still working on it was all we were looking for!

Nobody in the DEV team knows exactly how everything works/current state of all things, let alone thousands of random players.

Which means there
will be confusion and mistakes.
Just like in
this thread

I for one already see a mistake in the very 1st post, where Czech forces is listed as work in progress community faction,
which was actually scrapped.
System with a setup accounts and privileges, standardized interface and templates will work better for everybody.

Well the PR official staff imo is a bit understaffed, so I believe doing this should relieve some work for you guys.
That said, I'll work on the air assets.

Wikipedia is always been a project where alot of people has edited the same thing.
I can understand the Devs worry about having the community IE "thousands" of people editing the wikipedia.
As opposed to 1 or 2 devs.
Having 2 wikipedias on the same issue is just unecessary.
Thats like having 2 presidents of america. at the same time. Or smt.
So either you try to get help from eachother with stuff like finding pictures/maps/kit pictures.
And have the people who gather the info, and the people who place it in the wikipedia.
IE the people who place all info in the wikipedia are the devs. But helping eachother out, shouldnt be an issue here, we have the same goal, why are we even discussing this?

Thats the thing here, the pages that will be on this wiki are not matters of opinion but rather raw facts, EG the 30mm cannon on a BMP can effectively destroy a Bradley, and while some people might thing its more wise to use the TOW, the fact still remains that it can destroy.
Majority of the stuff thats important can be taken from the manual anyway.
I'd make editing public for the first few weeks or development NyteMire, before adding certain people to the team to proof-read everything on those pages.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I'd be more than happy to volunteer to help. One thing I'd want to add is that tactics, and not just logistics should be added to the guide, so that players know how to effectively play the game.
