Looks very realistic. The minimap seemed like "eh, Yamalia 2", but screenshots are really nice. I like the small hills and medium density forest. Also the fields with a some trees on them - probably will make crossing them much easier.

What is the cover like under the trees for infantry? My concern is that this is going to become another map where the assets literally run free as opposed to the inf that has little chance in the way of survival. Are there are alot of those big, 1x1m shrubs as opposed to just grassy undergrowth?

It's obviously a vehicle based map, so I wouldn't expect the infantry capabilities to be the same as on other maps. Most of the current maps in PR has its primary focus on infantry, so I don't think one more asset based one is gonna hurt anybody. Combined arms is what makes PR fun, right? ;)

Whats the point of having MB-LB's then? A PKT isn't going to do much if its a vehicle based map. Plus combined arms is when each facet has an even chance. Open ground ala Kashan isn't fun for infantry.

No they don't, not AAS at least.

Don't get me wrong I'm not completely judging the map before it comes out, but I'd like to see a 4km map bar Burning Sands where the infantry has a fighting chance, where a single squad can't get absolutely destroyed by some random tanker.

That's one of a great map Outlawz! The only thing I'm worrying about is if those wind turbines are standing to close to each other. According to wiki:
The "wind park effect" refers to the loss of output due to mutual interference among turbines. Wind farms have many turbines, and each extracts some of the energy of the wind. Where land area is sufficient, turbines are spaced three to five rotor diameters apart perpendicular to the prevailing wind, and five to ten rotor diameters apart in the direction of the prevailing wind, to minimize efficiency loss.
However if they are to close, it's such a minor detail, that you can skip that ;)

nice, i love the skybox and the light settings, and the farmlands feel really nice, finaly a china map thats not jungle. The Windpark really seams to be a good idea as well, those statics have been around since Euroforce, but they are underused for sure.
BUT the China Main as we see it on the screenshot looks very small and those chaotic containers do not seam right at all.

Finally? Qwai is mostly farmland, Qinling is lightly forested hillsides and Barracuda's vegetation isn't dense enough.

PR hasn't had a jungle map since OGT, there's certainly no shortage of Russian forest maps.

It runs fine for me, though I'm on 9600 GT, don't worry I wouldn't make a map I couldn't play myself :p

Yes it's going to be in 0.95, otherwise I wouldn't post it in this pre-release highlight hype :p
