Wow, that's a pretty vague claim. My experience is they only get rid of people that either don't support their team, or act like asshats. If people are distracting from the gameplay, the admins tend to tell people to take it to their forums, so it doesn't interfere with other's game.

We also moved our server to another hosting location, since we were experiencing server lag that the host was unable to fix. We now have it fixed and the new IP is reflected in my signature.

We look forward to having yall play on our new IP and server.

We will also be hosting a contest and the information will be on our website within a couple of weeks or less. One of the prizes given away will be sponsored by Psyko Audio Labs, Psyko 5.1 PC Gaming Headphones - Home

The best headset I have ever experienced. A lot of exciting new things happening and anyone that wants to be a part of it is welcome.
Just a reminder to everyone that we have this contest starting next week. We at TPG are striving to give you a great place to play PR with a great group of regulars. If you have been there, and wish to share your thoughts, please do so, we welcome every opportunity to improve your experence on our server. Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who has been stopping by the last couple of weeks. We have had a population around 16 to 20 every night for the most part, and even so, the teamplay has been outstanding. And an especially hardy thank you for those that stopped by on November 25th, Thanksgiving here in the US, we had a full server for hours and the best round of Lashkar Valley that i ever had. We saw a lot of new faces and some great teamplay, BOTH teams brought their best to the table and the intense battles were evidence of that.

Thanks again from TPG!

Hell yeah! Those were the days! Bravo, NME Bopat and myself are still around, we try to prime PR at least 4 nights a week. NHBird has pretty much stopped playing, but he is still very active in the TPG community. As for Elkharadam, i havent spoken to him in ages. He was a great guy, in game and out. Im sure all is well with him, just times and responsibilities changed. You will still catch Bravo in vanilla from time to time, but i have not been playing that one much. PR has been my true love since NHBird convinced TTP to start a server. Stop in and say hi sometime TeamPlayer Gaming - The Front Page

Horrible.
Me and my clan mates joined for a while and was sorely disappointed.
Map was Beirut. 7/22/11 10:30pm - 11:30pm PST
No admins on the server that I could verify. No mumble participation. Some players were disrespectful, swearing, taunting. Pilot named Wisekobra1 was flying around with players in them, not landing and laughing about requests for them to drop them off. Player named InLiFeX also wouldn't land where we asked and rammed a few players on the carrier deck.
We were told in chat that the pilots have discretion on where to land. So land they did near tanks, enemy fobs, building tops, always from flags. No way to get a chopper of our own because they wrecked them all. Players on both sides defended their actions. Some invited us to leave, so we did. I doubt we'll ever go there again.

Tactical Gamer was an Excellent Server. Yeah that's right, I said that, go a head and BAN ME from your server now!

I can echo DDS' sentiments. Just joined Beirut which is still ongoing, with the pilots not going where where they were told and being a general nuisance.

Lack of admins is the main problem it would seem.

The feedback is appreciated. Even if its negative, its important. I would ask that you please give us another shot. It is possible that there were no admins on at the time you experienced this lack of team play. We will certainly note the name you provided and keep an eye on him.

Our goal is to provide a great place for you to play PR, period, and we will do what we can to make that happen. Thanks again for the feedback.

Yeh guys give them a break its hard to get a server going and have admins on 24/7. If its obvious they dont have admin on then the feedback is limited. Judge them when they are running the server how they would like it to be run. Then provide feedback on the server rules and how well the admins do.

Good luck fellas!!

I will also say it is hard to keep admins on a server when it gets going at Midnight or later in the US where the majority of the admins are based. If you ever have a problem just report it to the forums and we will keep an eye out for him. Like Scott said as well feedback, even negative, is very much appreciated! See y'all on the battlefield!

DDS,
I took the time to review the logs during the time you were on and i can attest that there were no active admins on at the time you noted. Wisekobra1 apparently did take off in a chopper, fly around like a noob and crash, i assume he left shortly thereafter as i see no further complaints about him. Also, InLiFex took control of a chopper at some point after that and asked where people wanted to go. The funny thing is, unless you asked him in squad voip, i do not see a single request from you to any pilot to land at a coordinate. Not one. But i see where InLiFex asked a couple of times. Yet you call this server an embarrassment to PR? The only communication i saw from you was the berating of other players (to the point that another player asked you to "take your rage elsewhere") and overall disrespect.

InLiFex also explained some of his "erratic" flying as dodging APC fire, which could have lead him to land somewhere other than your preferred LZ.

In addition, your clan mate ]L[ o0nzl0o was called out for shooting friendlies in main. I dont see any reported TK's, but shooting friendlies is obviously a no-go and a bannable offense.

In regards to Mumble, it is not a requirement, but we do encourage it. You made one remark regarding the Mumble participation that night then nothing... if you want to get people interested in Mumble then broadcast it more than once! Encourage others to use it by pointing out how it would be an advantage with current situations in game. Just typing "only two players in mumble? wow" is not going to get results. I know its not your job to do that, but it is being a Team Player.

In closing, you and your mates are welcome to join us again, and i hope when you do you communicate via voip, mumble, or chat if need be so as everyone's game is enhanced. Just remember, when admins are on, we are watching and will act on non-teamplay incidents in a heartbeat.

Respectfully,
=PHX=SpecOpsScott

Your server is out of control and you can dress it up all you want. What happened was a fact. I might be tempted to go back and fraps it to prove to the community what is going on.

Well, im not sure why you have such an axe to grind but so be it. Bottom line is, you gave us feedback on the server, we looked into it and found that you were right and went so far as to admit it and address it. From a neutral stand point it just so happens that you and your clan mate appeared to be part of the problem. Just calling it as i see it.

Obviously you have a great respect for the game and i for one would rather have a player of your caliber on the server encouraging team play in the absence of admins rather than berating players who don't get it. Like i said, your more than welcome to return hopefully at an earlier hour when admins are assured to be on and you'll see that allowing asshattery is not the norm.

Again, thanks for the feedback.

Just a heads up guys. After being out of the loop for a while (a few months!), we are bringing back our PR server with the new Vietnam Maps.

I've only gotten to play a couple of them, so what are some hot maps? We'd like to set up a community friendly rotation at the very least!

Hey SpecOpsScott,

Out of the new Vietnam maps I'd say that Barracuda would be the least popular one, along with Tad Sae.
Ia Drang is a hit!

Hope all goes well with your server.
