This, just because a soilder has no rifle or kit for that matter doesnt make him a civi.

I could also see this system being abused very much e.g.

Long range firefight,
4/6 squad members go down,
Last 2 drop their kit to make them unshootable
enemy squad moves away because they are too far away to arrest
squad find the medic kit
revives everyone
go back to kill the squad that killed em'

lol has no one noticed the suggestion above this is the same?

hmm, yeah the advatage for the arrested??
how about not having a kill counted against you? After all you would not be killed.
and yeah I see that this could be abused, just like alot of stuff....

Tell that to the thousands of soldiers who have been killed when unarmed in Northern Ireland & elsewhere.

Sooo, you're in a building, watching the door, your know that 4 insurgents will storm the building with AK. So you decide to drop your kit and surender, BUT they start to throw grenades, and it kill you. The insurgent get penalty point for killing a guy who just dropped his kit.

Make it like there is a amount of time before you are considered a civilian. Maybe 2 to 3 minutes?

My clan is considering making this a rule in our server that might come out.
