I like to chat to find out where people are going and stuff so that all the team doesn't end up thinking "oh someone else will get the 1st flag". Can't even do squad chat - how pathetic?

Maybe all and team chat I could see reasons for (that I completely disagree with) but I can't see any reason for squad chat .. I'm guessing that's hard coded.

I think this should be removed, because you cant talk about which squad moves to which flag,
And the admins cant change maps or kick peoples, if they use Framework 1.1 for example

but the good thing is no voice spam anymore

The change is there to stop radio spam (the "yes sir"/"no sir" spam) but as an unfortunate side effect it did cut out the chat. But I get your point with having to kick somebody or other admin commands that may need the chat. We'll see about making it better in that regards.

What I can't understand is how this discussion turned out the way it did. Why so much aggression?

And then complaining about not getting picked up in testing... so easy to do that blame game. The actual change (stop radio spam) was tested, and it works, doesn't it? Did it cause an unwanted side effect to some of you? Yes, so we'll take a look.

It's so much better to just give the facts and reasoning, instead of yelling "HOW COULD THEY DO THIS?!", "ARE THERE ANY TESTERS IN THIS MOD?!!?".
