Allow me to clarify what I believe this event to be:

This is for those among us who are not so Tactically motivated that running someone over with a car would ruin the game for them, but this would also be for those who hate -> (having some jackass attempt to run over people at every opportunity, wasting assets for their team because they one man or simply die in the act).

- One mumble channel is there for fun so that you can taunt the guy you ran over.
- It is there for realism, so you can hear a squad yelling over to another squad that have both surrounded you.
- Most importantly, it is here because we, the ]CIA[ want it that way.

Now! Stop Whining and Enjoy Yourselves!

...because we said so.

Unsurprisingly, this makes no difference to anyone's lives, and so as you can see, doesn't affect anyone.

Unless you two are such so arrogant about your own self importance, that the whole PR Community will suffer at the lack of your presence, then I would hope that you would resist from expressing your opinion in the wrong place, and in such a way that is of no benefit to anyone.

Needless to say, I will try my best to attend, the CIA server is a good server, and I enjoy it, despite this 1 mumble channel.

Just for the record we do have 2 channels were just using 1 for this event. The server will be heavily monitored to assure quality game play. I hope this will be an entertaining event for all those who participate.

Look at it this way.

What would happen if everyone who didn't like a certain feature of a new release simply didn't say anything? Instead of voicing their opinions, they are told to praise the mod or keep their mouths shut. No progress would be made because then the developers would think that everyone is content with the new release.

Now, this instance may not be as extreme, but you can see the similarities, correct? We are stating that we will not be attending, in a polite manner, because only one Mumble channel will be used. Now, while this may not effect the event in the least, it at least lets others know that some players do not enjoy using only one Mumble channel, so much so that they do not wish to partake in an event highlighting this feature. This will hopefully let future event planners know that part of the player base refuses to play with only one Mumble channel and will hopefully encourage the use of two channels for future events.

Now, I'm over complicating things, but you get my point, right?

Again, best of luck with the event. I am looking forward to more where two Mumble channels are in effect.

Hopfully I will be there. I don't think that i have ever been on a fully populated one channle mumble server, and i hope that it will be full.

Sorry for posting right after my other post but I just had to say that the teamwork was exceptional. Last night on Lashkar the Germans would mortar our positions and then the infantry moved in. Course they could get past all of the RPG's on the road leading up the mountain to our cache.

I want to thank all those who showed up, without your attendance this would not have been the success it was. Mumble got a little insane after rounds but that was to be expected. Overall I had a blast. Keep an eye out for the next event from CIA!

Did the one-mumble channel worked fine? Because it seemed pretty fun in theory.
