If only you could remember the correct name now, it'd be perfect.
Type 98.

Yeah it's will be nice, but use it on Bf2 engine not so possible I thing. The reason is very low visible distance. It's make them useless, cuz we use old.Bun MEC can be have modern version(use some gears from Mi2

dtacs wrote:Don't rip on China. The models that DICE made for them are pretty good, honestly the Type 92 MBT and WZ511 APC models are up to PR standard, all they need is just some editing of their textures.
TBH they are not. Some are better than other vBF2 models but for starters, the Type 98 (which you refereed to as the Type 92) is an "ok" model, nothing special but the worst bit about it is that China dosen't even have Type 98s. It was only a prototype that never went into service, since the Type 99, aka ZTZ-99 took its place as the new, modern MBT for China.
The WZ551 model is also pretty bad, from an inaccuracy POV its 25mm turret still has a HJ-8/9 launcher on the side of it which in r/l it dont have and the model itself is also, not very high quality.
We have been working on new stuff for the PLA, one of which has been the new
Z-9 series of helicopters for the PLA (also known as the Panther for other other factions) and a few other things but the problem is we dont have the resources in the team to finish them off as fast as we would like, as with a lack of texture artists the Z-9/Panther series is stuck in limbo at the moment until someone becomes available and kinda the same story for some other models too
Hopefully we will get some of these items rolling again but since everyone here is a volunteer, people understandably only want to work on stuff they really have an interest in (for the most part) and only want to take on so much work so you really can't blame us for it. Although if you want to help, start learning w/e trade your interested in and if your good enough we will pick you up

On a more serious note most of the shaders we have (which can be customized) are still at their vanilla defaults.
The Thermal Imaging that Mosquill did was done entirely by using custom shaders as an example of how much potential there is in that process.

Hopping (whatabout mantle, guys? Wouldn't it be funny to see someone trying to bunny hop from a grenade but he just mantles over nowhere?)
What I mean by "mantle", it's just changing the jumping animation, if that's not hardcoded.

Alistair, ?but it involved editing close to a four
thousand animations.?

Speaking of the Chinese models, wasn't there a blog post a few months back where someone was showing off their new QBZ models, including a new Marksman rifle? Or am I crazy...

i tried coming up with this list once myself and didnt get very far.
SRAW and NLAW(gb version?), i think the NLAW is just a reskin
the T-90 is back in with the Russian Forces
some AK's for the insurgents
grappling hook
is the A10 an AF model, or is it from USI?
edit: Russian voices from SF, and i think the British are a frankenstein of SF SAS, EF, and 2142 EU.
