Gameplay > complete realism, by far

End of thread in my eyes

Also, the suggestions are closed for a reason

No one likes to wait infront of the map loading screen.
Your idea would increase this to ~1000% because you'd be kicked from a server and you have to join a new one, just to play there a while until you die and you have to join another.
this would suck so hard that everyone would stop to play the game
Furthermore: One player dies, gets kicked. A new one replaces him. This takes at least 1-2 minutes until he already joined the server
the match would never have 32 vs 32 situations, apart from the begining.
I understand that you want the players to play more carefully, but not with this idea ;)

Not if they dont know anybody from their squad like on the most of the servers.

That's the point.

At the moment PR is like CS but with squads instead of single players. Almost every squad is doing what he wants without any coordination with other ones.

Luigi, this is a VIDEO GAME after all. It's meant to be fun, not too serious.

I remember this was tried a long time ago, i think .75

I dont know how it went, this would be cool for like a one time event, but to have a server doing this would just be stupid. Rounds would take FOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People would just camp at main or at a FOB in the middle of no where. And the server doing this would probably be full at the frogginging of a round, and just die out from there, probably after 6 hours of the same map.

We have played a one death clan match, it lasted for about 2 hours. I really enjoyed it. When you died you left the server. But this was two organized clans. It works for events like that, but for a regular server I don't think so.

Yes, because IRL they ban you from Afghan when you get shot...

Everyone would be just sitting at flag doing nothing.
I think this is troll tread.

Something like that, but they "ban" you from RL...

I assume you have played this type of PR many, many times so you know that.

Few points.

- People will never feel the fear of dying in a game.
- You can die to so much random stuff in PR
- Balance of the mod would break if you only had a few guys playing on each side, for example if one team has a tank etc.
- As maps are big, rounds would go on forever looking for a few other guys.
- Pr already tried longer spawns and they were reduced.

Yes, but they will be a lil bit more careful and won't do all that rambo stuff like in cod 4. For example, how many times have you seen lone tank somewhere on the Kashan Desert hunting for enemy without any coordination with the rest of the team. In this "hardcore PR" people wouldn't play just for kills and points, because one missile can take away all what they have achieved during play.
- You can die to so much random stuff in PR
You mean bugs? If so, thats not a big problem.

I have already written that its not gonna be like cs where if you die youre becoming spectator, but youre leaving the server making space for the next player.

trust me, they will still do that if it means getting kills and making unaware people end their playing sessions in rage.

also, OP is a camper.

If those unaware people are playing as a team they'll take him down really fast.

the idea is valid, but not on this system or engine, and not for this type of game play. i would prefer if it were just longer spawn times as the round progresses, ie. 3:00 everyone spawns regularly 2:00 everyone now has an additional 30 seconds to spawn timer etc.

Thread locked as this is going downhill quickly and it is a suggestion outside of the appropriate forum. Additionally this has been experimented with on several occasions and it only ever works with organised matches.
