Kvantum phisic found that if you connect sensors to watch a brain activity. And that person imagine in his mind for example he is runing 100m sprint. To every detail, with start, with adrenalin, with hardowrk. Than person lost same mount of energy as he run in real. Our reality is what we imagine in our minds. If you wanna enitnig you will get it. Streng of mind. And we everybody plaing pr. We like it. Me to. May be if we stop playing PR the war will come to real. May be we are saving this reality in alternative reality. There is same information that real WW3 is few years in "Other side" (Afterlife world or Astral world, Soul world)

Look at thread with ONE life game, looks like lots of pweople wanna try it I never playd game where you can get so more skills just by plaing. Other talk about COD 4 I played CSS. In Pr you can be killd by unlucky, or by skilled player, or your stupid. Example in Kokan. First water crosse to W part of river. Ussualy there are mines. But how meny i was killed by mine there

Yes this is amazing game. Communication, community, action, lucky or unlucky, skills, patience (especialy if you play a medic and somebody still call medic, or if you need medic and medic ignore you ), teamwork, understanding.

But we shouldnt forget that this is game, we are people. Real fighter is peacful. He understand coast of life. He understand his soul, his heart. We could learn a lot throught this game. More about ourselfs.

Now I hope the KLDR and South korea not goint to war. It could be very bad for this planet.
I lave this planet and people there. Id ont understand why we still fight in real.

Oh yes. What i feel during game. Its like i play a chees or Go, or sport fight like fotbal. Yes this is sport for me. And it is good for my english skills

I know that this is prety philosophy ask, but may be iam not alone who thinking about it

Is it a game?

I find that it blurs the line somewhat between game and simulation. COD is definately a game right? I've certainly never found my brother or any of his friends wondering if they're playing a game; it's all instant gratification, speed and very much based upon kills over teamwork. Additionally, it has achievements to unlock, this incentivizes players to complete the game over and over and effects a goal based game dynamic that is completely absent from PR.

PR is basically none of the above. In an average round most players get around 5 kills, and spend a hell of a lot of time waiting around (to die) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwR1n0p1V7U[/youtube].

The rounds are slow and success largely depends on teamwork, as does fun. The net result of slow rounds based upon teamwork is that immersion is increased; an atmosphere is created when you're sat staring at an IED or patrolling a road for 30 minutes that is impossible in most modern games, if not all.

I certainly don't think that it's a viable alternative reality. Although the Everett interpretation of QM suggests that I might come out of every round with the most point, the least points, the most kills and the worst teamwork score all at once. I'm pretty sure that's not what you mean though.

So, Pr bridges the gap between modern FPS and full on military simulation, and it does so with aplomb. I think it is still (just about) a game, with significant RPG elements that a lot of people in the community are unwilling to admit to.

Reasons for playing are going to be varied, but fundamentally they'll stem from a couple of sources: A desire for realism (coming from a desire to experience modern warfare as near as possible without the risk of actually feeling pain), and secondly, wanting to experience teamwork.

My personal experience with PR started ~3 years ago, first played it and thought it was slow and dull but noted the use of VOIP and was impressed on that count. I didn't load it up again until I couldn't stand vanilla BF2's repetitive gameplay any longer and I was hooked. PR has made it so that every other game I've played since (and prior to) seems weak by comparison. Something I've noticed a lot of other community member say too.

Have to strongly agree with you on that. Other games that I play seem to lack the thrill of combat and the tension of the moments in between. They also don't seem to have the teamwork element that PR relies so heavily on and it's for this reason that PR is one of the most rewarding games or the most frustrating (because of the lack of teamwork at certain parts of the day). There's nothing more rewarding than completing objectives through combined teamwork and it's that sense of community that really brings the game alive.

Real teamwork and coordination, something lacking in new FPS games.

I like it for the lulzy armor gameplay.

we play PR and video games in general to vicariously satisfy our (males) hormonal urge to kill and maim, a desire that social constructs have attempted to dilute and hide, but are present nevertheless.
