I found this out a couple of days ago on a training server - funny that the zoom is even better, since the marksman is supposed to be a "backup shooter" shooting from greater distances than the usual frontline rifleman.

I will always take the ACOG over the other scope. :)

So this gun fires 7.62? Really? Nice! Good info!

Both of Afghanistan's most prominent bordering countries (Iran and Pakistan) licence produce G3 variants.

Wait...is that a short barrel AUG in the bottom photo? I can understand the G3's as Pakistan/Iran still produce them without the vented hand guards but the AUG isn't geographically relevant at all.

EBR M21 should be the replacment or we should use the USMC Marksman rifle much like the CANADIAN marksman in use right now . . it fits better im my mind

Khyber Pass is pretty close.

Notice it still has the Swarovski scope, and the polymer handguard. I don't think there is any way they could reverse engineer them.
