Community rating is different to MOTY, you vote on the mod's profile page with a number between 1 and 10. This can be done at any time for any released mod.

I guess it's important for the developers here as if they want a job in the future in this field it can only be good to have a provable track history working on an award winning Mod.

PR is already an award winning Mod but it's always good for morale to have some gratitude. And it can bring some more players even if they're noobs and don't know how to play, some good old players are still willing to help new guys.

this is the closest any mod has gotten to be the best made .... other than the counter-strike mod and the portal mod both on the Half life engine, which went into full production because of their success but that's just because they are made for the wide audience. and in no way is it good for PR to do so due to its sophistication that just cannot be brought to the general public.

Yea that's a beautiful mod, the best ever, we agree on this, now see it this way, PR2 comes out, but it's too sophisticated for the general public, everyone says it sucks because they don't know how to play it and players like you are not very helpfull, then the game is deserted and we're back with the 5000 original players. Sadly, in the game industry 5000 players is not that much, no players = no money, no money = no more game support.

Project Reality is a game like any other one out there, it needs players to live. Plus we recently saw with the ArmA series that there is a lot of people who want realistic shooters... then I really think that every new player is a good thing, the ones who found out that they dont like it leaves, and the others stay... and then the community grow.

I am aware that it's a pain in the a** when a bunch of noobs come on servers and screw the game, but if in 20 noobs, one guy try to learn the game correclty and enjoys it, I think it worth the pain, as the noobs strike rarely last for more than a month after each release.

I know we're much more than 5000, just for the exemple.

There isnt so many members on MDB because what we need to know is here on the forums and we play the game for fun and satisfaction, not to raise stats.

We are professionals.

The mods with more MDB members have forums as well.

They also play for fun and satisfaction. Clicking on 'Track this mod' only takes a second, much less time than it takes to come here and post weak excuses for not doing it.

Has nothing to do with professionalism, it's about supporting the mod.

And thats not all, if you click "track this mod" button in next ten minutes, you get a free shamwow! But that is still not everything, if you additionally rate this mod a 10, you get a free slapchop too! Register now and press your buttons!

I did everything although, before i posted that. And now im waiting for my free bonuses.

And best way to support the mod is to donate generously to the DEV team (IMO), Mr #1 fan.

Not really that much to show off considering its pretty much EoD when you look at it. All the public has seen is a trailer with illogical errors and low-quality pictures. Just give it till release when its up to 'PR standard', then it'll be worth showing off.
