We are still fine-tuning the process of approving suggestions. In other words: sometimes BloodBane gets to it first and we have to clean up after him ;)

Charliesierra, the vast majority of suggestions were utterly useless. People fail to understand that not only is the PR team pretty big, so we already have an internal stream of suggestions, coming from people who have a deeper understanding of the internal workings of PR, but that we also have a number of military advisors. If some cool new gizmo is shown on some TV show presented by a certain really annoying bald guy...that doesn't mean that it belongs in PR. And the things that do belong in PR we know about through the people who use them in their everyday life.

Hehe, that IS amusing indeed... but I've never seen any suggestions such as this one... :(
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

so is it bloodbane that takes care of this? or is it every mod? the reason i'm asking is because i've some "small" suggestions on stock and i don't want to create a thread for each and one of them. neither create a "suggestion thread".

What I don't understand is why the suggestions that actually gets through the needle eye only stays for like two days and then they're gone again. Does a suggestion disapear when it gets inactive?
yeah it did get annoying when that happened, I made a suggestion a while back about tweaking rally point system to be more usable while having some good restrictions. it gained a good bit of support, but once they stopped posting regularly the thread sank under the pile of new ones.

they dont "disappear" most of those threads (at least before this move to filtering, i'm not sure if thats changed too) are still around, you just ahve to look into the other pages or search for them.

There is always something that can be improved; no game is perfect, not even PR (though it's damn close).

While I do agree the majority of the major suggestions that can be made have been, there will always be smaller ones that pop up too. Take for example my suggestion that the Iraqi Insurgent Cell Leader kit should be made requestable. A very small suggestion, but still a relevant one.

But we don't like being flooded by people who sign up and make stupid suggestions without taking a minute to look at what has been suggested in the past ;)

Besides, it is amazing the things you learn through actively participating in a community. I personally have found that it works best to participate in a community as it is before trying to change it.
