I am pretty sure he gave it to you for free... also, there is already a portuguese version of the manual..

Again, you need a international credit card to do this.

Well, you kinda said you dont trust him, so... maybe send him a nice pm and he'll send it.
And FYI, many people help the mod in their way, modelling, translation... etc... and AFAIK none asked something in return. If you wanna help I think it will be appreciated but if you do it expecting something back it wont be welcomed.

Well, if a man you don't know offers you candy, you can't instantly trust him, it would be stupid, just like it would be stupid to download 4gb without knowing that you'll be able to play a game. :O And considering that a CD-Key it's just $2,00, it would be more like a donation to me.

Except that in this case it there is no danger in a stranger offering something like a CD-Key, because they won't be able to drag you into their van and rape you over the internet.

You don't need international credit card for PayPal account.

I have no credit card and I'm using PayPal.

if you can buy BF2 in macedonia, you can buy BF2 in brazil from a retail, i got mine for 30$ (a long time ago), if what your saying is true yours shouldnt be more than 30-40$ there its still an old game and retailers want other ppl to buy their products.

Or maybe you could get someone with a steam account to gift you the game, but I don't know how you could pay them 4 it...

And use the torrent to DL the files, it's faster and you can stop the DL when you want and take it back where you stopped it...
I was on the paypal site, tried to create an other account to see, and in my country at least, they ask for a credit card... I was pretty sure we were able to link a bank account without credit card... so maybe he is true? Or maybe you can link the bank account later...?

Well I'm sure in Poland you can link it directly to the bank account without need of having any credit card or even debit card, because I'm using it that way.
