Yeah i'm using WLAN both at home and at uni, and my uni home works properly. Updates are current, and i'll have a look at setting the connection speed.[R-CON]Soppa wrote:This is very common on wlans. Are you using wireless lan at home?
If you do, try to update your wlan router/ap from manufacturer site.
If it wont help, try to set lower fixed connection speed, like 11Mbit (b) or 54Mbit (n).

Re: Yet another connection problem!
I kinda remember reading EA download manager could cause problems if it was running in the background when you game.
MrTomRobs, seems like it must be your router or ISP.
You run the game on your laptop at each place right?
I've read that Vista/W7 by default will check every few minutes for a better signal/network. Check your settings for home.
What version of Microsoft .net framework are you running? (3.5 sp1)

I'm using .net 3.0.31309 for Client Profile, Extended and Multi-targeting pack. I do have download manager too, so maybe that could be a problem? Doesn't affect anything in uni though but i'll try it all the same. Haven't been able to test anything for a few days so i still need to go over the router settings and re-test and get back to you.
