It may or may not help. It really just is dependent on your GPU.
^^; like i said, in THEORY it should, as it does have less literal instructions to do, so that means by the time the frame has been rendered, 106 less instructions have been carried out.
But, even if it doesn't, it still makes most people feel less sick. ^^;

I dont know - Xfire doesn't seem to work in A2, and AFAIK A2 itself does not have a fps meter, and i didn't get to start using FRAPS once again, so I dont know my FPS rate at all.
But because I trust LithiumFox, I am sure Im not getting a framerate DECREASE, and game plays nicer and smoother now, because I can check corners and actually see something. Etc. Etc.

Chances are that this will not work on PR:A2 servers cause most of them if not all are not allowing custom addons to be loaded. You can use this on other servers that have no restrictions.

PR2 is not released yet, not even close. You mean PR:A2 mod? No were not, Im playing on med/high. And its not enforced by BIS, its server side setting. Admins decide if they allow some addon to be used on their server or not.
In case of PR its not, I think. You might try but PR can be launched by its exe only and I have no idea if mod launcher switch will even work with it.
Should be ...praa.exe" -mod=modname

All it does is remove the blur. It does end up smoother because the blur doesn't get choppy. It's not really meant as a framerate increaser, but it probably does due to a less cluster-f***ed blur shader
And also, the PR devs should probably look into doing something like this.

Or at least see if this does what it says it does.

worked for me whenever i used it

This cant be used in PR atm, and to be frank I have no idea why is this topic in pr arma2 support section. I'm going to move it to general support.

I suppose this was in the support section cos this involves a) PR b) Arma2 and needs support from the devs
Imo this should be in the General Discussion section a bit like this one;
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f440-p ... ed-pr.html
I don't use PP atm but I would be willing to try it if it would be less demanding without the whatnotblur effects. Though the Bloom effect could be less shiny too..

Its not involving PR since it cannot be used at all and its creating unnecessary confusion in PR:A2 support section. Mod can move it to Arma2 General discussion if he thinks it fits there.

sidhellfire wrote:This is silly. You simply try hard to maintain fancy effects while your card has serious FPS problems, and blame all on blur. And that is just stupid, cause every reasonable person just turns off graphical details and admits that this card is too weak.
Additionally, you hadn't really tested how different post-processing values do work in latest version of Arma :O A(CO). FYI the exact effect you want to achieve is under "very low" value.
If i'm correct he try's to say that he ONLY wants blur removed and KEEP the other fancy effects that you have with Post Processing ON.

In PvP environment, to have settings all high and purty is a hinderence. A dam shame with such a pretty game knowing others out there would have an edge over you.
