Will there be any asset rules?

usually our rule is "first come, first served",
but for the event we will may going for "assets belong to squadnames". we will discuss this internal.

Is this Jungle Fire? Or just a map with a similar name?

Jungle Fire was ranamed Forest fire, because achieving the necessary density of plants underneath the trees was destroying performance.

It is now more an asian forest rather than an asian jungle.

So try and curb your jungle enthusiasm guys

we feel that only maps such as the congo insurgency map will be able to achieve the required numbers due to being half water.

As I said I will still be there, but it is a little bit of a letdown knowing that it's not a jungle anymore. : \

Bah, no need to get defensive. Theoretically it is a bit of a letdown. The sheer number of comments regarding Nam and Jungle when the thread title clearly states "Forest" should be a firm indicator that everyone was looking forward for such environment (and I don't think they even noticed the difference).

However, it doesn't mean that the fun factor will disappear because of it, at all. I'm excited to play it like any other new map. It just doesn't have that (environment) bonus that I was looking for. And it's a feeling stated at the very present since I am aware of "other" jungle maps that are being developed, plus, Vietnam will soon come.

if a west coast server wanted to have greater than 64 slot i doubt they would be allowed.

for this reason i wont be joining this server or any other like it any longer. congrats on the map but i'll just wait till its official release.

i dont think i've ever seen so many j.j. Abrams style dutch angles in my entire life. i feel like im going to slide off the edge of the map and get told that im leaving the combat area.

its only for testing, i have request it for our server birthday, and becomes the answer, all server i see with more than 64 slots, are only for testing
