^ BF2 wont startup, maybe I shouldnt have copied the D3 file, will restore it and try again soon. I made it work with World of Tanks and even after some tweaking it makes my eyes bleed.
Edit: Can upload a vid of how it works in WOT if ya guys want..

What if you disable bloom and motion blur and just use color correction, does it look any good? Perhaps set saturation to -2 or something (I believe it can have values -10 .. 10).

If it is implemented, will there be a way to turn it off? My head really can't stand that - I feel dizzy and sick watching it

Thats how it looks in WOT.. I tweaked it, decreased bloom strength and what not for my eyes' sake.

I'm sorry, but it really isn't. No matter what he says, I highly doubt that "I wonder if motion blur could be implemented in PR.exe" is a purely philosofical question.

afterdune replied this way because storm-mama thought this would become default in pr, instead of someone's personal choice.

Which is exactly what the OP sounded like he wanted.
Also the BF2 editor has a bloom option build-in, cant remember were it was though, i think it was under view or something, i remember loading a super cobra to mess around with the pilot view point. And then i found that. Maybe something to look into, i dont know. I dont have the editor installed atm.

The OP clearly states he wants to konw if it's technically possible. What point are you trying to make?

ADDING motion blur is unnecessary, your eyes already do that for you. to artificially create that effect would be redundant and in fact over kill in a video and or a game. Motion blur happens because your eyes/brain cant process the information fast enough to create a solid image, if i were to turn around in game really fast i would get the same motion blur already as i would if i did so in real life...minus the head rush. Motion blur effects i find should only be used in slow motion or still images
should be very much possible.

But I'm not moving my head around like I am in-game when I'm sitting in front of my computer screen.

i'm not moving my head when cars drive past in front of me either.
yes the monitor is not itself moving in relation to your head but the image being projected into your eyes is still changing. motion blur is cause by the after image left on your retina as an object moves quickly away from it's original position. this applies whether it is a real moving object or frames of animation playing in front of you, in fact that's how animation and videos work at all. Even though they are still frames the image stays in your head fir just a fraction of a second enough to connect it with the next frame allowing you to see motion. So it can be said that the concept behind motion blur is the very foundation of film and animation.
a lot of what new games now add to the visuals is just to make it pretty, not look more realistic. Most of those fancy blurs and lighting effects are already processed by you. example being like how in some games if there's a window in a dark room, almost everything in the room is black. it is unnecesary, if the lighting in the room is appropriately dark the contrast between the bright outside and the room should already cause your eyes to adjust to the light by itself.

for PR ARMA yes the game comes standard with a really really annoying motion blur effect that gives me headaches . . . PR BF2 it May be possible actually i belive it is 100% possible . . .
working alot how the zoom into the scope effect works.
except its triggered when ever the mouse moves it = causes a weapon Zoom IN like effect where the sides bluur up then lowers Weapon Soom out effect Where Blur is taken away.
may not make sense the way i put it but just next time you zoom in with a weapon on BF2 look at the edges .. the blur comes after a millisecond of zooming in from clear to progressively blurry. now just imagine that effect being triggerd around the sides of the screen when the mouse "Trigger" motion ability is activated. it would be alot differnt from arma blur but . . yes i believe it is possible and NO i have NO IDEA HOW TO DO IT if i was a coder then yes but im Just a man . . pr devs = Gods
