Ohhh poor you, it must be hard to drop one of your maxed out settings to medium.
set terrain/textures on med, turn on AA on and quit bitching please. My configuration is worse than yours and I somehow manage to play comfortably.

Now you just trolling. I have some settings on medium and still can't turn AA on because it increases the chance of CTD by 100% for me. I will choose stable platform above looks anytime.

exspecially with a GTX460 1GB (which I own myself) theres simply no reason not to have AA on. Its just an example to a overall poor configured machine if you get FPS-drops (I get +120 FPS on any map).

indeed, there is one reason:
if i turn aa on with my gtx470, some textures will get transparent. (ground textures)
i am not the only one. a lot of people have the same error.
it is a windows7 64 bit problem. driver is up2date.
here an example:

now youre totally lying, theres no reason whatsoever why you would get 120fps while I get 30fps. In fallujah, when in USMC spawn I look away from the city I get 150FPS, when I look into the direction of the city I get 30fps, even though there is just a wall of sandbags on my screen. The game renders everything beyond even what you don't see, FH team fixed this.
Its bad especially on fallujah because when you look one direction, its all liquid smooth and when you look to the other direction its a diashow. Really makes it unbearable.

How much RAM and which CPU do you have? And which OS?
I have a GTX470 and get Framerates between 45 to 200 and more with everything maxed out (Win7 x64, 1680x1050, High, 8xAA and overall quality set to "quality" in the nvidia control panel)
I have a Phenom II 1090T OC'd to 3,7GHz, 4GB ram and windows 7 64bit.

there totally is a reason. my PC doesnt suck a penis.

there you have your problem. I might be an intel fanboy, but my i7 940 (first generation, doesnt need overclocking or other BS) has no trouble whatsoever running PR on 120FPS, combinded with the Palit GTX460 1GB and 6GB of Ram (Which are obviously uncessesary in this case, but still). Fast harddrive helps aswell.
Im not lying, you are doing it wrong.

And this, well ... if you get that, thats just too bad for you. Problem is not the GTX460, rather the rest of the PC not working toghter well enough.

Alright now you are here lying. Why? Because I got a slightly weaker machine ( Phenom II 840 at 3.2 GHz, Radeon HD 5670 1GB) and even I dont fall below 60FPS at any point on that map, including the heavier parts.

If you have an nvidia card make sure you have 'Application Controlled' selected under Anisotropic Filtering.

Then select appropriate setting In-game. This should get rid of the OP's problems

What settings are you running at, resolution? I refuse to believe what you say without proof. Post a pic with fraps showing 60fps when you start a 64p game, go to the USMC repair station, and look at the direction of city.

I get normal points from 3DMarks, that rules out the "problem". I dont have trouble running PR on +60FPS, its just fallujah. I would really like to see a proof screenshot from you too from the same spot, because this sounds too absurd. If its true, I'll never touch AMD processors again.
