Lets just skip all this foreplay and add ligthsabers to number 1 weapon slot. It'll work both ways since the wounds cauterize, so all you need to do to arrest a civi is to chop off his legs.

The Militia v.s. Russia maps might not a good place for a Hind, but the Militia v.s. UK maps might be doable. The Milita on those maps represents a group that might have more firepower, or atleast not yet lost it's tiny airforce. In my view the Milita fighting the UK could be threating the local government (or maybe even are the government) which is why the UK are there to help in the first place.

By unique I meant that as it stands now the only vehicles that aren't used by Russia (in game anyways) are the BTR-60 and the T-72. Both of which the Russians have replaced with very similar vehicles (BTR-80 and T-90 are later generations of the same family). By adding NATO vehicles it would atleast make the MEC less of a clone.

off the top of my head I can't really think of a miliia map where attack helis are appropriate for either side, for gameplay?

I vaguely remember talking about it for fools road a long time ago after an event where attack helis featured, but I think it was decided it wasn't appropriate.

While it has no Militia to be used in at this time it could still be added to their armoury if it was made (if ever). It's like if so one made a CF-18, while there are no CF maps (unless you take a layer of Kashen from the US Army) that could use planes it allows future maps to be made for them. The USMC in the case of the example could use a F-18 on a layer of Kashen (or other map) even if the CF never get a plane map for awhile. If a Hind was added it would most likely appear in MEC or Russia maps long before the Militia ever get it.

Adding assets that are unique to MEC by taking vehicles designed and manufactured in the middle east sounds like an excellent idea, but without someone willing to invest in the model it will likely remain just an idea.

I'm sure if you had a model to show with this idea it would be better received.

i think Hind as an attack/trans helicopter is a silly idea as many people will be to scared to risk the 20min spawn time

even Mi8MTV can have IGLA-VB AA missiles(Pylon with 4 missiles).Image
Mi24V(This is version after Mi24A) can have it too.
Well Russian army have this versions - Mi24V(Old missiles, rotatable 12.7mm MG),Mi24P(Same,but got static 30mm cannot, also they government will modernize it to Mi24PN(4 pylons, better electronics.)) and Mi24VP(Can carry modern AT missiles, have rotatable 23mm cannon, have 6 pylons as on old versions,Very limited use) for MEC good idea to put Mi24VM(same as VP,but got better electronics and 4 pylons).

I was thinking more along the lines of adding so things we already have. The M113 could be used by the MEC and it wounldn't need much more than to be skined in MEC colours. Same thing with the Cobra and Abrams, you just need litlle more than reskins to have them useable by the MEC (maybe upgrade the model later like they plan to do with the T-72). The fact of the matter is that if the USA is fighting most of the Mid. East they will at some point be fighting kit made in the USA. That's what happens when you're one that sell them most of their weapons in the first place.

I really don't understand this people
You give them little finger (T-62),
they want whole hand (Mi-24). :-)
Mi24 for any Militia forces is not realistic idea . . .
It is possible to put that in game,
but simply it would not be realistic.
It would be more realistic to put some civi heli to be used as a transport.
My uncle who is veteran from Yugoslavian wars once told me that in
Croatia militia forces has used civi planes loaded with barrels full of explosive, pins and
nails, imagine consequences of that kind of bomb. But they were easy target to Praga AA.
That kind of aircraft would be realistic for Militia.

A reskin of assets would only make sense if they are not being used by both factions, Abrams vs Abrams on Kashan would just end up with loads of TKS and many many raging players. Even if you reskin the assets pink in thermals the assets would look identical.

I'm all for this idea because it is realistic and would give map developers a little more freedom when it comes to asset balance, so it addresses the two competing factors PR devs seem to always take into account A)Reality, and B)Gameplay. I just think there are plenty of wrinkles to iron out, and as per my last posts point; If you want it done I suggest finding someone to help you do it, or doing it yourself. If I had the time/talent to help I would be more then happy, unfortunately I cannot, and I'm sure the majority of posters are in the same situation.

Why Abrams ?
I know that Egypt is using old versions,
but I think that would be better to use Pakistani made tanks combined with T-72s.
