I have found that ]CIA[ is the only server that actually offers (even if its remote at times) actual team play. When playing on other NA servers, there is next to none communication between squads and even within squads. I would say CIA is the best NA server as it is the only one to actually feature teamwork which is what PR is about, even if it still needs improvement.

If you don't believe me, you must be catching all the good players on the other servers which is bullcrap.

CrazyHotMilf: can you release PR 1.0 today cause its my birthday and i want to play it ? because its gonna be very nice and every thing

Yes, you won the popularity contest. This proves that this server indeed is the BEST EVER, with an admin not wanting to investigate a breach of several rules because he was on the team that broke it, because they were losing so fucking bad and that was the only way they could have suceeded, an admin who is such an asset whore, he resigns players from the SL position so he could get the asset himself, admin who makes a 2nd CAS squad, but was lucky enough to have SQ1 (because an INF squad was disbanded) and promptly warned the first CAS squads SL. A TRUE EXAMPLE OF TEH BEST SERVER EVER!

Souls, if you have such a problem with our server and our admins, you are more than welcome to come to our forums and report it. We do look at each and every report and try to get both sides of the story and be as fair as possible. If you don't have any constructive to add to our feedback thread, please do not post here.

I don't have any problem with this server. I got used to admins abusing their power and simply try not to get in their way. What I do have a problem with is this ****-waving "BEST SERVER EVER!!11! LOOK WE GOT 1st PLACE. WE ARE SO POPULAR THAT MEANS WE DA 1ST!!"

Report your own member? I highly doubt any action will be taken against them. Lets see what conclusion will be made after this so called "internal review", that, to my LIMITED knowledge, is taking place.

You want constructive criticism? Okay... Admins not enforcing rules such as intentional roadkill (some admins weren't even aware of this rule). I have yet to see someone get kicked for roadkilling, although it is quite frequent on CIA. Also, just recently,on Kokan Canadians drove GWAGON near the cache and it exploded. There was no TK message, IIRC, but I guess the driver did a suicide. This, is my opinion, falls under the 1b rule. When a Taliban asked the opposing team who drove the GWAGON up to the cache the response was random blabbering from a CIA member.

Might wanna keep your members on a leash, although this is your house, being a massive dicks against guests isn't something that should be done on a regular basis.

We have recently demoted an admin and completely removed another admin after reports. We do take action.

As far as the **** waving goes: I'd say we are allowed to - being not only the most popular Project Reality server but the most popular BF2 server is a pretty big accomplishment.

That is good to know! There is nothing worse then admins who can't/don't do their "job".

Meeh, this is where we differ. You can wave your dicks (lol) as much as you want about being the most popular server, but popular =/= best server, IMO.

Also, some guy named [K] 0m1ch was accused of being a hacker some time ago, I myself thought something was fishy about him on that Iron Ridge round. Was he banned or cleared of any wrongdoings?

Here is a tool used in catching these douchebags.

http://prteamwork.com/threads/cheater-s ... girl.3363/

3rd post - tool used is DemoAnalyzer. Dunno if you guys already use it, thought I'd share.

Server admins share a lot of information about griefers and cheats in our secret forums.....

Being accused of hacking and being proven of hacking are two very different things - don't go naming anybody who falls into the former category imo.....

Finally.. word of warning on using demo analyzer - it is a tool which uses the same technology as hacks. If you are stupid and don't reboot your pc after using it and the program is in memory and you are picked up by punkbuster, your ban won't be lifted and your reputation ruined....

My advice is to only use it on a pc that you don't use for gaming...

Souls, you shouldn't ever be afraid or feel that you have to stay out of the way of admins.

If you have a problem, like Fatal and Coyote have said numerous times, come to our TS if the problem is happening or has just happened. Otherwise go to our website and report abuse or anything else that is awry.

I and many others within our little community take the quality of our server pretty darn seriously. If you give us a no bullshit report, we will give you a no bullshit reaction.

We love teamwork, we love the PR community members who cultivate teamwork, and we will do what we can in our busy lives to make sure that the quality we all seek is achieved. But if we are not there, or if we cannot see what you see, we need your help.

Help us to cultivate teamwork @ CIAGaming.org

Ace could not have said it any better. I tell everyone who visits the server to tell us when something is wrong, i say it until I am blue in the face. NO ONE has xfire me, come to TS or anything. We have had a few abuse reports, and they were taken care of. I guess haters are going to hate in my opinion. You have pretty strong opinions by theway. To say that we are the best is fine by my standards, I have worked hard in making CIA into what it is for the past 3 years since I took over from one of the founders, ask Ace or any of our veteran members. I have spent many nights and days fixing servers, going through ban logs, rebuilding sights, dealing with an attempted coup d'tat (spelling) etc. I have spent more money on CIA's server costs than I care to admit. I and my colleagues at CIA have worked countless hours to bring the PR communitty a place to play in NA with a steady ping and hopefully an emphasis on gameplay. It saddens me to see your hatred for our server and the fact that you almost seem unwilling to discuss this in our TS. As for anymore replies, I have spent enough time on this tonight. If you need me, come to my TS sometime and I will gladly talk with you. I will not be on tonight due to holiday obligations.

Regards,

SyntheticCoyote and the CIA admin team.

I don't hate the server nor I have even an once of hatred towards it. In fact, I like the server. A LOT. You are blowing this out of proportion. I simply don't agree with calling it the best server just by it's popularity.

Depends on how we qualify "The Best". CIA is the best based on population and continued success in keeping the players coming back, it may not be the best in other aspects and as such everyone is wrong! WWRRROONNGGG

Was just curious if db mod will work with .98 . I am out of town for holidays and look forward to some quality games when I get back and prefer the 1 cache and no using enemy kits.

0.981 is a required download for both, players and servers.
It's not possible to play with 0.97 on 0.98 servers and vice versa.

The original goal of DBmod (as I understand it) was experimenting with game settings, and seeing their results in-game; though the DEV team wasn't as much in the loop with it as we are with boosted player count testing, it was essentially a test, rather than a release. Some things worked, some things didn't work as much. As dbzao is currently retired from the team, and the present team is devoting all of our development time to 1.0 tasks, it is unlikely that we will restore dbmod's settings prior to our next release.

Feel free to make your feedback on dbmod vs. standard play known in the feedback forums. The more you keep it civil, the more we will listen. I know its going to take getting used to playing on standard settings (especially on insurgency), and I apologize, but it would not be feasible for us to restore dbmod functionality at this time.

Happy hunting, and enjoy the release!
