I don't know of any servers with admins that don't get rid of the tkers, sorry to disappoint you. But the situation of a single HAT will be like in the OLDDDDD versions of PR with sniper kits, admins quite simply aren't psychic as some may think, and they can't forsee teamkillers before it happens. I'm just guessing that having a single kit on an asset heavy map might lead to some problems with the newer players of the PR community, only speculating mind you. too focused on vehicles was cited. This is a problem for small 64 player servers, because with such little infantry, the whole game mode of AAS kind of falls apart, this happens on kashan sometimes too. However, if 100 player servers become official in 1.0, which they ought to, then this issue should be fixed, even if 32 players are operating vehicles, or doing non-infantry tasks on foot like sniping, or sabotage, then there still ought to be 18 infantry left over, which is enough to tend two flags, right?Spook wrote:Wanda Shan was awesome. Oh, and I wonder about the winter maps from years ago. I mean there were 3 or 4 high quality maps with unique vehicle skins and player skins, in unique settings, why are they not official?

In fact there is not any actual snow material in the game. So on those winter maps, water spashing sound was playing while you were walking or riding around, and sand would get blown up by shooting the ground.
Combine that with nonexistent or low quality winter camo for infantry and vehicles, and you have something that is pretty much under PR quality standard.
Some of these maps very really simple, with minimal amount of statics, but still there were some quality ones, that I can agree to.

As for the other one i had to check with FF design plan, and it says they will have Congo Insurgency as the only insurgency map, but that one seems to be on hold?

impossible to tell exactly what new maps are coming. As far as I know, the french get the current marlin, a jungle map against the chinese army and two insurgency maps. Though, sangin may make an appearance, which is a 4KM brits vs. talib map.
actually, apparently the african factions are pretty much finished, so yeah there will be some ins for the french.
